I can tell brother big ounce passing really hit you. There’s just a bit of sorrow with you uncle Ben but it’s ok. You don’t need to be 100% all the time. Loving them with all your heart is the greatest gift you can give them. The pain never leaves but we get stronger ❤ take care of yourself!

Don't be afraid to talk about the sadder parts of wildlife rehab once in awhile. Most of us understand that it isn't all sunshine and rainbows. That's why doing the things you do are so impressive. It's not just hard work, but also dealing with death and grief often. Obviously it's extra sad when someone as beloved as Big Ounce passes, and you feeling down for a while is normal. May the little guy rest in peace.

PETA gets so much hate about the statistics of how many animals they have to euthanize. It really is good to hear someone that people love be honest about the importance and realities of euthanization in animal rescue and rehabilitation. Its not all fluffy animals and cuddles, so those moments like that, like the ones with Bibberton Ouncerton, that you do get, are even more wonderful 🥺🥲 Thank You Uncle Ben!!!

The issue with PETA is they euthanize (that they usually steal) beloved pets, not just wild animals.

Uncle Ben. I can’t imagine how difficult it is for you to take care of your wildlife family during this tumultuous time. It must be unimaginably difficult to grieve when you are so busy, and I hope you had enough time to yourself to properly process and express your emotions. It’s always difficult to say goodbye to family, but it always helps to remember how much of a positive impact you have had on these beautiful creatures. Biggerton Ouncerton was a king, and I’m sure he misses you as much as you do. God bless your heart Uncle Ben, keep up the righteous work, we all love you ❤

I haven't watched in a while. I absolutely love the house and all that was built for the animals. Very impressive! Good job!

I am in the process of setting up a sanctuary/rescue area right now, because of you. It's almost winter here in Minnesota. We have more than a dozen chickens that we built a 10,000$ coop for, and plan on getting goats, sheep, a few cows, work horses and such, with time to set up areas on our 20 acres for more wildlife. You are a legend dude. God bless you. Someday I hope bibberton, you and I, can run freely on the fields of heaven. I'll update you next year on our own Minnesotan sanctuary! You can just see that something is off/missing in Ben's sweet face and energy now. Just makes my heart hurt for him. Unless you've had a pet that you spend so much time with, you just can't understand the void that they leave when they're gone. I sat down with my husband and 9 year old son to watch the Big Ounce compilation the other night and all 3 of us shed tears with you, Ben. As odd as it may seem, it felt like losing someone we personally knew. He was definitely one of thos, "once in a lifetime" kind of pets that we all hope to experience ❤

Beekeeper here. No excluder during winter. If the bees go into a ball during winter, an excluder stops the queen moving with them through the hive. So you either get a dead queen in the spring (so you have to requeen) or the hive dies because they did not want to leave the queen. So NO EXCLUDER DURING WINTER!! 😉 (Ps. Glad to see you doing alright Uncle Ben. I'm sure Big Ounce is in a better place. Perhaps in addition to his tree, you can name his pen that he ran around in after Big Ounce as a memorial, then he can keep helping to save others like he did back in Vietnam. His legacy will continue to live on though since he was a large part of the farm regardless.

He'd said in one of the previous Big O. memorial videos, he was goin' to be designin' and working alongside an expert human (Level: Zoologist), in order to build a "commemorative OUNCETOPIA-exhibit," if YOU WILL, come, by way of him building, and/or erecting such a thing...for prairie dogs in the future...AT THE RANCH of the future, the future URR...that'll be dedicated TO, AND memorialize, Biggerton Ouncerton! (MAY HE RIP, rejoicing in that next life, and upper plane of existence, and sleep WELL just knowin' he'd LEFT THE RANCH in the BEST HANDS POSSIBLE and that he was able to sign OFF on all Ouncetopia plans, prior to passing, ensuring not only that it'll BE BUILT to his likin' and approval as well as using a likeness of him which he'd, also, in life, approved of, but makin' sure that, in death, all proper rights and residual payments will go to or REMAIN WITH [AND/OR WITHIN...] the gentry [Urban Rescue Ranch, or Branch] FAMILY along with the rest of the entire Biggerton Ouncerton's remainin' will and surviving estate.) LmMFaO! ;) :P :o)

I sometimes find myself overwhelmed with bitterness. From age, from change, from my perception of the current world. Or whatever. This channel makes me chuckle and inspires me. Thank you so much.

Something about Garbanzo Bean gives me peace. Big Ounce may have helped me survive through 5 hurricanes but Garbanzo brings me the calm after the storm.

Even crazier, his youtube Chanel isn't even a scene we're looking behind, it's more of a side hustle. Running the ranch is definitely not "behind the scenes", it is a full time job on its own I'm sure

I'm seriously thinking of getting myself a prairie dog because of your videos. It made me sad to hear of his passing. That Wahoo/Yahoo/hi daddy/what's up brother/thanks for the grub thing is just so incredibly cool. Until next time.
