When I was 14 my appendix burst and every doctor was busy until Biggerton Oz volunteered from his previous military medical experience in NAM, he painlessly ripped out my appendix and had me up and going again the same day. RIP Dr.Oz you life saver.

Thanks for saving me during the D-Day, Big Ounce! It was an honour serving with you. Three military yahoos to you, sir!

I met him back in 2006, I was at my lowest point in life. I lost my loved ones in car accident, I was destitute and homeless drug addict. This guy was the only one who saw not my shortcomings but my personality. Mr Ounce and his family literally pulled me out of the abyss of bath salts and depression, helped me get a job and gave me a place to sleep. Even when I moved from them he continued worrying about me. Now I am 41, a father of 2 and married to an amazing woman, and all of this happened only because of him. Big Ounce, a true man with kind heart, loving father and loyal husband. Rest In Peace my savior.

He cured my depression & anxiety. He saved my life at least 20 times. May He rest in peace.

The fact that this prairie dog never once ran away with the amount of freedom you gave him just shows that he truely loves you. Stand proud Ben,your a Chad.

So sad. I just discovered Big Ounce and didn't realize he passed away. He was lucky to be so loved.

This is a beautiful tribute. About two years in a ranch with animals a wild prairie will never see (including a shark!) while being smothered with fatherly love, hugs and kisses, was a wonderful way to live. RIP Big Ounce

Your channel came around during a pretty dark point in my life. Watching dababy grow and you fend off kevin had helped brighten my day. Back in Ramadi, we were pinned down, taking heavy and accurate small arms and rpg barrages. Big Ounce was on QRF that day. I still remember seeing him standing up in the turret unloading the 240. His arrival and accurate engagement of the enemy resulted in 132 insurgents kia while rescuing many orphans from the orphange they were holding. He also saved my squad of Marines. He was given the Medal of Honor and will always be remembered. GOD BLESS CORPORAL BIG OUNCE SEMPER FI DEVIL DOG.😢

I never thought I’d see Sir Biggerton ever again, however my heart is both rejoiced and saddened to hear of the Sir’s passing. Sir Biggerton once saved a small platoon of the queens guard from a terror attack on the palace in 1987 and also helped build several community homes for the homeless and less than fortunate children. The world will remember you, Sir Biggerton Ouncerton. Rest in paradise.

I clicked on this video thinking it was satire just like all the other vids that say “big ounce died” in the title. I found out this was real and now I’m crying. Rip biggerton ouncerton, u will be missed 😢😢😢

I'm a 31 year old man, sitting in my living room crying for a Prarie dog I've never met. I feel so bad for that little guy. He was beyond lucky to have Ben as an owner. Grief and pain are things left behind by our loved ones. They feel no pain, have no worry and move on to a happier place.

A loving husband in a same sex marriage none the less, truly pushing boundaries on every front, and a friend to everyone.

I'm not the only one obviously, but I cried when i first heard about this, (and again now,) so I wonder if Big Ounce ever knew the effect he had on people's lives. And beyond that the way he helped make people conscious of animal rescue. Big Ounce was one of the greatest American heroes of the last 4 generations and nobody will forget him.

5 months and I still can't believe he's gone. I'll never forget the day Big Ounce came to my home and stopped the burglar from breaking in and stealing my prized collection of Big Ounce Trading Cards. I owe him my life, and I'll never be able to repay his kindness.

What a life. We should all be so blessed

I cried like a little boy during this entire 20 minutes. I don’t know how you do it Ben, thank you for all the animals you save and for what you inevitably have to go through losing them because of how much you care for them.

I'll never forget that time Big Ounce singlehandedly saved that entire orphanage from a meteor by eating the meteor. Witnessing such a feat of heroism, athleticism and digestion is the kind of thing that never leaves you. Big Ounce deserves another Nobel Peace Prize.

And it is that knowledge that makes him and others continue what he does. WIth how sad it is that biggerton ounce passed, he and so many animals on the farm will have lived a better life, than any other pet and even many humans could ever ask for.

The fact he has had so many epic moments in his life was so amazing to watch, sad to see him go but that is life. You gave him an amazing life, better than he would have ever imagined

I only just started watching your channel last week. The adventures of Biggerton Ouncerton are now legendary. I'm also a British chap and I think I'd have let him eat me too. It would have been an honour sir. As tears roll down my face I wish everyone who supports this channel and especially you Ben all my love and I say thanks for blessing us with Mr Ounce. He will be remembered. Wahoo all ❤

Big Ounce, definitely the only Praerie dog in earths history to touch a Shark. He was clearly there to live as a legend.

​@@mrcrazy7865prairie dogs live on average 5 to 8 years as pets. And apparently poor Ouncerton was not taken care of properly before he got into loving Uncle Ben's hands. So that probably didn't help in the long run. 😢

I mostly float around the shorts channel, and while I was aware of his passing, this video did mellow out my emotions of the situation. The fact that Big Ounce wasn't living the best life before he ended up at Urban Rescue, and now he has left a happy impact on the world. And that he had peace with a man who has so much joy from just being around him. He didn't have the best life, but he had joy in end. We're sad he's gone, but we are much happier that he was here, for the time we witnessed him.

where have i been for 2 months.... uncle ben, im so sorry for your loss. you gave bigerton ouncerton a life that no other prairie dog could ever hope to live and im sure he was the single most loved and happy prairie dog in the history of the world. rest in peace big ounce you are missed by millions world wide.

Big ounce truly seems like a heroic, bold, and one in a million creature with an incredible zest for life. It's refreshing to see such bravery and resilience displayed in a furry critter. Seeing him overcoming his medical conditions, still showcasing that unbeatable spirit and charm is heartwarming. May he continue to inspire us all!

Biggerton Ouncerton III was too good for this world. The brightest stars burn out the fastest. Godspeed Big Ounce, gone but never forgotten... Ive been genuinely crying with my own animals over this loss. Big Ounce was a total gift to this world. He has been a genuine inspiration to me.

I’m a 34 year old mother of 4 children who grew to love Big Ounce just as much as my children do! watching “Urban Rescue” has been a cherished family time that has actually bonded us closer as a family! It broke my heart to see “Remembering Big Ounce” pop up today..There wasn’t a dry eye in our living room. We pray for your broken heart to be comforted today Ben and pray for God to continue to use you to care of and love His creation!

I know this is a celebration of Big Ounce but I just want to say this really is a testament to how special what Uncle Ben does is. Not only for the incredible lives he gives to these animals but the connection he allows all of us to make with them too. I think the real collective mourning of all of these strangers for one sweet little Prairie Dog out in Waco Texas is a real gift in a very somber and special way. We hope you’re doing well Ben, and thank you for letting us be a part of your life and your prayers.
