this is such a small thing but margaret and carrie wearing red bothers me. i specifically remember an entire scene in the book about how margaret refused to allow carrie to wear any shades of red because it was sinful. pretty sure carrie’s prom dress was red in the book to defy her mother or something. i know they change it in the movies to make it pink, which is understandable so it’d show the blood better

Also why is Margret wearing a short dress? She would never wear that she always dresses modestly also did she have a cigarette? She would never smoke plus in the book she hit a girl when she was in school with her purse because that girl was smoking.

That’s because it’s her haha
This might be a nitpick, but it bothered me that Margaret was basically wearing a bathrobe the entire time, which is not something her character would wear.
okay, but i think rachel bay jones would make an amazing mrs white?

I was thinking of that!!! Rachel is so talented I could see it
After listening to Carrie 1988 for years and years and years, this is very lacklustre.
There is something insidiously chilling about Miss Ripley’s interpretation of Eve Was Weak.
Okay, here me out, Meryl Streep as Margaret 😔

They need to put this back and Betty Buckley’s key. Alice could’ve done it!
Wonderful performances, just bad costume choice for Margaret White. Very distracting playing with the dressing gown. But amazing vocals and performances. Xx
What does the mom put on her arm, does she cut or or something, why?

Cosplayers tend to use musical theater audios that fit with the characters so I've seen some use this song.
Oh, this charater drive me nuts. She's a exemple of a great mother Edit: Let me repeat myself, the character of the mother drives me nuts, I hate the mother, not Carie. And, of course the last phrase was sarcasm
