Note:- On completing the game, the following disastrous ending always occurs.
"Your spaceship was unfortunately too unstable. When you had just passed the moon your spaceship exploded into pieces. You will forever float around space."
This is the only possible ending and it is hard coded into the game. At the very end, you are asked at what angle do you want the ship to pass through Earth's atmosphere. Any value that is less than or equal to 20 degrees is accepted, but the value chosen does not effect the ending in any way.
Examination of the BASIC listing shows no other endings are present on completion of the game, although there are several other ways to die before game completion.
