The difference is Bethesda actually cares about elder scrolls because they made the IP, they bought fallout IP, if you haven't you should play the first and second fallout games, they're so bleak and horrific

The importance of physical disc copies of software is to ensure that the digital one doesn't get "removed" from your possession after having paid for that instance of the license. The importance of a digital copy is to ensure that your physical copy isn't the only one you have should it be damaged or lost to time. Ideally, we'd have both a complete physical and digital copy of all purchased software. But companies want to move to a digital only future, so that they save on production costs, and so that they have unlimited control over software that you have paid for. You'll own nothing and like it.

10:50 Asking the people performing the exploits is a valid strategy that some game companies use, but they offer ACTUAL rewards (like cash or rarely a job offer to deal with stuff like that) not something you could easily get over by shelling out a little more money.

Remember playing fallout 4 after new vegas and all the dlc, which followed after fallout 3 with point lookout and mothership zeta, and I did not believe Bethesda would actually pull 76 off, so I was not too shocked by the state of 76 on release

I'm getting a cuteness overload from that bundle of joy in the bottom right. I've seen a couple vtubers doing the blanket bundle, but this one is so fecking adorable

12:00 hard copies are useful - digital products are account bound - meaning - if your account ever gets banned, or deleted or hacked, you lose all your games. physical copies arent bound. you can use it on as many accounts as you want - thats why you can sell them "used" on ebay and stuff. I buy hard copies whenever possible, because i am paranoid and have trust issues. for a reason.

I dont believe ONE word Todd Snakeoil seller Howard says. Starfield (their upcoming game) looks ambitious...too ambitious, it still will be filled with tons of bugs, performance issues and mid gunplay.

The game has really improved over time, fortunately

As a person who bought the game back when it came, then got a refund and then bought on discount about 1 and a half years ago, have to say it does have decent content, love the mutated events with their rewards and camp building

It does have good content, and more that got added over the years. However, the level of ineptitude and arrogance surrounding the creation of this disaster should be taught in schools of business and marketing, it was that much of a mistake - as you will well know since you were one of the unfortunate fans like myself that put money down on this at launch.

Most of the "decent content" from everything I've seen, is just stuff that previous Fallout games already had, nothing really new. To this day the game is still a buggy mess that crashes every other hour, still flooded with absolutely terrible microtransactions, and just about everyone who still plays it only do so out of Stockholm syndrome.

I would like to note something rather humorous- The fanmande Sword Art Online Abridged series revealed at the season 1 finale (via an ad lib apparently) that Bethesda helped develop the game in this version...which was significantly more glitched and exploitable than in canon (a boss that in canon was extremely difficult to defeat ended up glitching out, dying, and proceeding to glitch the exit with no way to open it.) The episode in question came out a year before Fallout 76 was released.

Man that sucks. Earlier this year I got upgraded to 350 Mbps down for $72 a month. Upload is still shit at 10-11 Mbps but I'm not a streamer so I don't care. I live out in the country so this kind of speed and bandwidth in the area is a blessing. It wasn't always this way and I have friends two miles away as the crow flies that have absolute garbage internet because Charter doesn't cover their area yet. And I've had Charter for six years now.

This is not my quote, but I’m spreading the word of it, someone said that this game is only alive because of the community, equivalent to that of a “Dumpster Fire”. Because “Once the flame is gone, that’s all it is, Garbage”.

I played fallout 3, 4, and new Vegas and even I didn’t touch this game because of how bad the launch was.

Another issue with the Power Armor Edition was that the helmet was made with toxic materials or something like that. Might be wrong but that's what I heard

This wasn’t Skyrim buggy, it was borderline unplayable with all the bugs. Plus Bethesda is well known for releasing malfunctioning games.

I should be lucky i never encountered those bugs during the beta

On the topic of Physical copies, yes I do every chance I vet. Why? Lets say your a Pen on Xbox user and over the last decade you dropped a few grand on games or did digitally right? You get permanently banned for any reason its all gone, you don't get a refund nor can you appeal your ban its gone and you will have to buy it again. Which scares me the way we are going toward majority digital.

For the first 6 months I was unable to play coop with my friends becouse the game just didn't let us, funny stuff. Of course needles to say I didn't play the game much after realization. And I would've made a new character earlier to see if coop worked after that if it wasn't becouse I already advanced a bunch on that one and didn't want to replay those absolutely boring missions again. I haven't looked its current state but honestly I much prefer to download New Vegas wich is an actually fun and enjoyable game.

Hardcore gamers insist on hard copies of their favorite games, but the majority of players are happy enough with digital copies.

I guess that explains Starfield being post poned a few times until this September.

It was and was not this bad at launch. I had some medium sized glitches and a broken quest but i actually had a lot of fun with the community because at launch everyone was very talkative over voice chat but the game itself was very bad. It was also fun to level up and build your house but the questing was some of the worst ever created on this earth. The atomic shop was never a problem because they were fairly generous with free points i got around 3000-4000 from achievements but those did run out. It was obviously a cheap cash crab but with some major changes it could have been a very fun online building game, but no... the building is a bit limited.

The hate towards Bethesda is more than just 76. I've said this to many others who've reacted to this vid, Fallout 76 itself can be summed up as Bethesda’s mishandling of the Fallout IP finally coming back to bite them in the ass. There’s been a lot of tomfoolery from even BEFORE 76 going all the way back to when they got the IP with Fallout 3. From not caring about the lore to “the fans will fix the bugs.” It’s a rabbit hole in and of itself. The videos "Bethesda never understood Fallout" and "Fallout 3 is Garbage and here's why" are good starters to learning about this. Hell, it’s all something I myself didn’t realize until playing Fallout 4 and learning about the story behind the original Fallouts (1 and 2.)
