Watch guys are the worst I've seen of any hobby. Worse than car guys, worse than fashion guys, worse than everyday carry/survivalist/outdoors guys, worse than fitness guys. They're so bad they turn me off to the interest.

Found this podcast thanks to Rogan. Learned a lot about watches thanks to it. Ended up subscribing to TST because of this channel. Sad its ending but looking forward to the future. I'm going to pay at least a weiss watch + 10% for an engagement ring so that I can buy my own Weiss watch afterwards.

Just wanted to say thanks for doing this channel! Watching you guys was super fun. It felt down to Earth and unpretentious. Hopefully this channel will keep that spirit as it evolves!

I've really enjoyed the podcast guys. I find myself listening at work where I can't watch KZread, then later watching on KZread. Cameron is such a easy going guy and really knows his stuff. He has a back of explaining things really well

Great timing, I just finished school and this show was my Wednesday highlight. Great show.

This show got me into watches. It was a great mix of Matt’s appreciation for design and style and Cameron’s deep technological knowledge. Sad to see it come to an end.

Man, we are so many subs and followers that are in the same position as you Matt, we like watches but we don't need to know the tension that accumulates a spring. But if you ask us we could have told you guys tons of ideas for doing more episodes, like how to buy or sell online, how to recognize good value for money, and many other topics. It is really the best podcast of watches out there because you talk about watches the way we would do and that's why it connects with us so easily.

I absolutely loved your show, and the time you guys put into this. Loved Chef Carl too! Think it would be awesome if you three were able to kick off the new series with C&C introducing the new host, format, etc. A hearty Godspeed to you both Matt & Cameron on your future endeavors!

Matt, I would totally watch a cooking show. Especially with this type of approach, where you're not Cameron but you have SOME expertise in the field. Have always loved the show. Would love a Cameron Weiss show along the lines of “what the watchmaker” knows with content oriented to the technical side of why a particular watch is out of the ordinary such as today’s discussion about the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. He mentioned that it had the Fredric Piguet movement but no details about it. I presume without any concrete basis that it was an 1185 movement and what I would like to hear is why this move e t was so seminal for so many manufacturers. I always wanted to listen in to watchmakers when they were drinking after work and discussing the pros and cons of different watches and movements. Finally, I never was aware of Crown & Caliber until this show and I have become very impressed with their website and range of watches. I am very favorably disposed to dealing with them at some time in the future.

Matt I think you are spot on pushing in you Batman for two of the most unique and undervalued Rolex watches to date. Not only will they both only go up in value but I have found them to be way more rare in the wild than all other current sport models. They also just look bad ass. 😁

Where is that case from?

You made a hell of a trade for that gold submariner. Not my favorite aesthetically, but definitely a safer investment. Also, Matt Ive found Tag Heuer bracelets to be extremely comfortable, even outside of that beads of rice. I know Tag Heuer gets a lot of flack but, from my experience, theyre really comfortable on wrist.

Sorry to see you go, Matt, but if you're not into it, it's time to move on. I'm happy the channel will live on in some capacity. Best wishes!

Is it too late for a suggestion? Matt, W&L should be more like your Smoking Tire podcast where the content is less about the product (a particular car or watch brand) and more about the guest. Just get someone you know on who happens to own a watch then talk sh!t for an hour. That's what you're best at! Loved the show. All the best.

Noooooooo. Please god I hope that isn't where the podcast goes. I can hear casual, empty, meaningless banter on literally ANY other podcast. Episode with Spike was the worst of the entire run.
