Just put a small weld on the joint and you are good to go

Good channel.I had no start issues due to a 20k miles fuel filter.Have you had similar issues?

No, can't say I have. I did both of mine as the cars were "new to me" and neither of them had any service history. I have no idea how old either of my filters were but as you saw, both banjo's were corroded through!

Question......will a clog fuel filter cause your Saab to run rough I have an Saab 93 aero and I have replaced the spark plugs and the coils and it's running rough keep saying misfire in cylinder 3 and sometimes multiple misfires....so if you could answer that question I would really appreciate it

Same here I also replaced fuel pump and pressure regulator but can not find the filter. I am told that it is in the pump that I have already replaced. Head scratcher think maybe the ECU

Do not ever hammer any metal elements with hammer close to open fuel lines, perfect solution for severe burns and significant fire on yard/garage/home, those operations must be done before opening fuel lines. One sprak thats all it takes.

You are quite right. I really should have done that first before cracking the fuel lines open. Thanks for the tip, I`ll try to make sure I don't do that again. Frank.
