EPIC BREAKDOWN AT HAULOVER INLET !! BOAT ZONE
Ойын-сауық
Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

What do you think happened to the girl who had that nervous breakdown and looked considerably worried and almost hysterical?

it always boggles my mind how they can afford such a expensive boat but I have no common sense..
So many crazy things in this video. The woman riding on the bow in the beginning, the guy snorkeling in the inlet and with no dive flag, the jet ski being towed by the steering yoke instead of the bow eyelet and the big yacht turning around because he thought his antennas would hit the bridge. Just a typical day at Haulover😎

McMonster is a 1997 43 foot Black Thunder. I bought it from Ugly Johns at Grand Lage OK in 2000. I rerigged the boat from twin Merc HP500/Bravo to 600CU IN/ 750 HP MPI Eddie Young engines and Huber transmissions with Merc #5 speedmasters with 5 blade props. Cruise at 50 MPH and run 80 all day long. Sold it in 2007 to a guy MO. We kep it at Lake Cumberland KY with a trip to FL and LA for a poker run every year.
Mystery Boat had Cornholio driving it.
Is it really that hard of a concept to grasp that a PWC cannot be towed by its handlebars? They all have bow eyes for a reason.
@SuperChuckRaney

It sure turned over quick. A dirt Bike does that too. It's easy to tow a dirt bike buy the foot pegs. Until you get the rope ito the front wheel.
What in the hell are those guys doing turning that jet ski into a submarine?? Stop and tie the line to trailer hook!!!

everytime I see a boat like that, I think of Taylor Made. But at the time it was built, late 70s early 80s could be a Glasstron, EXCEPT that Velocity Powerboats still makes that look. It's probably a 22' Punisher.
My heart goes out to her. I can imagine the stress she's feeling seeing an expensive equipment going under water. Hopefully she has insurance or the jet ski is fine. They're meant to be flipped and still run.
I feel like if you're going to be allowed to operate a Miami-Dade Police boat you should at least be required to be tall enough to see out of the boat!

Gotta love those old birds gettin their SeaDoo on. Fit.
It's a 22 velocity
And why isn't their any speed limit through Haulover...? I get needing speed to stay on plain because of the heavy wakes through there. Otherwise, slowing it down your going to "sip and dip" your boat the entire way out. Especially, in an open bow rider which can easily be flooded. However, some of the speeds through there are obnoxious. Especially, boater etiquette towards other captains creating unnecessary wakes on top of turbulent waves as it is. And no i don't agree with the guy snorkeling in that area. Anyone doing that is just taking a huge risk of losing their limbs or life getting run over by a propeller. And yes i do believe the yacht captain made the right decision turning around. Their isn't much else he could have done sitting there in heavy boating traffic deciding on what he needed to do.

Pulling that jet ski by the handle bars was a brilliant idea. 🫤
Re: Quintessa...all marine antennae can be folded flat for just such situations. Either the captain did not know this or the antenna were installed where they could not be easily reached
She left her Cell phone on the Jet Ski and now fun Instagram vid's are toast.
Mystery boat is a Thoroughbred 22 originally a Velocity 22.
I would not snorkle in the inlet. Neither would I scuba in the inlet. One reason is no speed limit. Another reason is how fast the current can run through the inlet. Stupid is as stupid does.

Someone didn’t tie up the jet ski right
The PWC owner to boat captain “Thanks for the tow, but OMG, you now ruined my cellphone!!!”
Though I watch many of your videos. I gotta say, here in Hawaii I rebuild boats. If the stern doesn't have room for. 6' fish box and room to walk around it, the boat is worthless here. People.bring those kind of boats then want me to buy a cab on the front. I refuse the job for obvious reasons. The boat will ride like crap and they will break their back. However me personally, I like speedboats. I'm in the wrong state for that. Should I move to Florida?
Re 1:38, does that girl have any idea who expensive it is to replace lost teeth?? She should realise that teeth don't float when they're knocked out. 😆😆😆
To your pinned question, probably got over it. As a second, I now know what the meaning of tweaking a motor means.
She probably had a phone or something in dry storage bc once it flipped she started flipping out knowing the dry storage was under water n it could possibly ruin her phone or if it was a rental thinking she would be reliable
why would they tie to the handle bars and not the lower hook ?

Saw in another video, the guys from the boat threw the jet ski gal a line and she tied it off on the steering column. While she was in the rescue boat it appeared she wanted one of them to do something about her poor line location choice.

Most of the boats don't have registration numbers on the hull. Why? I thought they are required in Florida.
I know wind speeds and currents are the major contributing factor to the waves but do you think increased traffic makes it worse?
Those Miami-Dade officer are too short to be driving that boat. They need to find taller officers or get them a stool. They couldn't see shit in front of them.
she though her wave runner was junk should not tow them by the handle bars now the boat that helped the is liable for the damage if any some days it doesnt pay to be a nice guy
3:52 "captain made right decision...?" In terms of what? I assume he made the "right" decision for him. If the question refers to getting under the bridge, the video is inadequate to make that determination - it's a telephoto shot so everything is compressed, the point of view of the camera is barely above water level so the shot goes through the boat and its superstructure, and I don't know what equipment or its value might hit the bridge steel support. Next.
amazing to see how many people I have seen online trying to tow a jet ski by the handlebars, what the hell is wrong with people?

Oh boy there's no rules in the water anymore I remember when my dad had a boat we used to go out through Haulover Inlet and there was always manners nobody has manners they're all flying by each other under the bridge and how many life jackets did I count in this whole video one wow
Why do people who tow always tie a rope around the handles of a personal wave craft instead of thru the metal tow hook loop down below on the front of the bow????!!!!!!!!
Must be good swimmers, no life jackets, cowboys at best!
