So even though she was going to steal? But she didn't steal how do they get to arrest her if she don't have the item. So now you can get arrested for thinking about stealing? I'm confused. I mean she may have had the item somewhere on her or tossed it but can they prove that. She literally said I was going to but I was being watched

I did it once when I was in 5th grade. When I was 10. And it was because I didn’t know any better. I saw some markers open in the store and some were missing like someone had already opened them. So I stuffed them in my shirt. Thinking because it was already open and taken that I could take it. And right when I got to the dollar general’s entrance they fell all out on the ground😭😭😭. My grandma (who I lived with) she turned around and gave me a whole look. She then said “go put those back now! Before you get in trouble.” So I was sad and put them in the exact spot where I got them from and left all sad and stuff. And she gave me a scolding about how I shouldn’t ever steal. Which I did one more time after a month later successfully. (It was a lipgloss from a small hair store for 2 dollars) but I felt so guilty that I told my grandma about it and she took me back to return it and thankfully they appreciated I was honest enough to return it. But never stole after that again. I can’t do it. My conscious won’t let me.

You realize you can go into a store and put stuff in your purse and no one can touch you until you attempt to walk out with it right dumb as5? Your like the little loser kindergarten kid. Along with the other bunch of loser kids at kindergarten desperate to fit in and make friends, no matter if it's at the expense of another. One day some ugly spoiled rotten bast4rd of a kid points thr finger at an innocent kindergartner and makes false accusations, and all the other insecure loser kindergarteners desperate to fit in and make friends and belong, see it as their opportunity to finally feel cool and fit in and they all get up and point fingers too and repeat the same accusation so they can feel like they belong. That's what 99.9% of the comments on this video consists of. M0rons who don't even bother to look at the video and ask why the guy can spend 5 min to get footage of her putting the stuff in her purse, yet makes a big deal about getting the footage of her walking out with it which would leave no doubt she stole it and make her look stupid? When it came to that and when she asked for that specific footage. He sneakily acts like it's a big deal and quickly tries to get her to forget about asking for that specific footage. It's more than likely they restocked the perfumes, but wanted to get her arrested because they got annoyed when she caught on to them watching her and got butthurt and didn't want to see her "get away with it". Just ask yourself and think why the only footage that matters was deliberately not shown and when asked for it, was denied. Guarantee you if she hired a lawyer and got a subpoena for that footage, you'd see the employees take the items put it back or somewhere else. They just got butthurt and wanted her arrested for "attempted theft". They just got mad because she caught on to their attempt at getting her arrested and fking up her life more, got angry, and decided to get her arrested to fk her life up more, because she got them angry and played them.

holy fk the sheer stupidity in this videos comments is killing me. How can anyone not comprehend what really happened? The employees took the stuff and put it back on the counter or hid it. They got mad she caught on to them and got mad they couldn't get her arrested for doing nothing and it ruined their sad little plan to watch someone else's life get potentially fked, and decided to call the cops regardless and if the cops asked only show just the footage of her attempting to steal, but not walking out. She even asked show me the footage of me walking out and the fkn loser mall wage slave employee acted like it's such a huge hassle and takes a long time to get it, even though he got the footage of her putting it in her purse in 5 fkn minutes. You people are just desperate to fit in and belong with the crowd so you close your eyes and ears and point the finger wherever the fk the losers in the crowd in this case the commenter's are pointing. Man ppl are really fkn sad and pathetic. The DESPERATION to fit in and belong makes ppl do extremely stupid fkn things and even wholeheartedly believe something thats COMPLETELY WRONG and has ZERO SUPPORTING EVIDENCE.

It was also really refreshing to hear the bystanders telling her "It's ok, calm down. You will have your day in court. This is not the place to fight it." Most commonly, especially in police interactions that involve black suspects, you hear the crowd screaming about police brutality and excessive force and whatnot. It was nice to see some reasonable people who understand the legal system and how to do things properly in these kinds of scenarios.

No shit. I used to wonder why I see high end bottles of men's fragrances, sneakers, jackets, and things like certain electronics on sites like Mercari or Offer Up all the time for under(sometimes way under)50% retail all the time then I noticed they were all black ladies from large cities and then I remembered all those news stories about all the grab and go's at stores. I thought at first they were fake but I got 6-7 bottles the last year and they're not fakes(with those sites they hold your money in escrow until you say the seller sent you what was advertised). Now after seeing other things and all from the same types of sellers with super super low prices on new stuff down to a t I feel kind of shitty I most likely had part in this bs. But then what am I left to buy on? Amazon? Wal Mart? Another shitty company that's prob done shittier things than this lady? Ugh. What a clusterfuck. Haha.

But she's right..everyone forgets that she asked to see footage of her taking it out the store and the dude was unwilling to see it. No one sees anything wrong with that? If the footage was shown of her taking it out fine, but it wasn't. And no one here finds that slightly suspicious? I doubt a shoplifter would ever risk putting merchandise somewhere to grab it later in a busy mall, where it could easily be found by someone else, plus there was no evidence she had a friend. Yall here are fkn sad losers. There's NO evidence of her walking out with it and you guys just so miserable you get off on seeing others being put in cuffs. Someone else or even an employee could have stolen it. No one fkn checked any cameras of her walking out with it. Complete bs. You ppl are pathetic cop sukers

The fact she's been arrested apparently multiple times for shoplifting in the past and known to the store staff doesn't bode well. That's not what she said, it's just what the police officer chose to interpret it as. What she said, clearly, was she was getting watched so she put the items down and left the store. You interpret that to be some sort of admission that she was planning wrongdoing but couldn't get away with it, but that's just fitting the story to your pre-existing narrative. In reality she's saying she didn't want to continue shopping in a store where she's being closely watched by a security guard. Of course she may well be lying about it, but it's disingenuous to imply she said she intended to steal but didn't because of the security guard, she clarified the point multiple times.
