This channel actually understands 8s, compared to the others.
My son is a type 8, and he just shuts down. Everything is “No”. Or “I’m fine.” “I can do it myself “ So this all sounds really accurate.

Yes! Haha. I am a second grade school teacher and love it when I can identify 8s; as it really helps me as an educator gain their trust (which takes time!) so I can utilize that drive and potential to be the natural leader they are. So if you have a teacher finding them as the “trouble maker” or causing “problems” for other kids; please have them study up the 8. It truly helps see the beauty and super powers and empower them to do the work through their sense of control/autonomy and comprise.
This is actually very accurate. The most accurate of type 8. It just seems like most people misunderstand type 8 or constantly stereotype them without any depth understanding. The way you expaln the whole the denial part was an eye-opening to me, and I totally do it all the time.

Thanks
This is spot on; As a 9w8, I have a 8 twin brother and a seven year old 8 student that demonstrates this; especially with the “I didn’t do it” lol. These videos help a lot on creating a healthy relationship with both so thank you! ❤

Glad it was helpful!
I really like the accurate description of an 8 denying the inner child comparing to a 7. This is true.

Wonderful!
Finally 👀🤌😂🎉
If I can toil night and day for weeks straight, take a financial hit, suffer some physical pain and get something done myself without ever having to rely on another person it's a done deal! Asking does not occur to me, I would just do that. It was not until I started looking into social psychology like this that I realized everyone wasn't like that - it's not smart but it's maybe a reaction to seeing some people who just always ask for help - before they bother to use their own resources they're just asking for help and it just seems so lazy and impotent

Hey, I enjoy your content because I think you are a real in Christian. My mom's 8 defense strategy each time this year is guilt-tripping me-- Christ's sacrifice so get in line because I'm a disappointment . See she loves Christ but is a hypocrite, hating, judging , piling on my pagan-not-meeting-her-needs- self. I don't feel you are like that, so thx and Happy Easter

I was raised by an 8 father, and I am also an 8, and it’s tough! Good that you can see all of it and be the one who’s seeking support! Anyone who’s in relationship with an out of balance 8 does need support!😝
