End Grain Cutting board (Saltire) The Scottish Flag
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Here I take you through the process I used to build this Saltire board. Made from Sapele and Ash woods. Learnt a few valuable lessons on this one. Clamping triangles isn't easy for one. In the end the board turned out great and I am more than happy with it. Alas its not blue like the real flag but there isn't an abundance of blue colours in natural woods and dyes would make it non food safe and kind of defeat the purpose of building it really.
Hope you enjoy and if you like this board and want me to do another video on a different design let me know and I will be happy to have a go.

Something very satisfying about watching those glued pieces come together. Might not be quite as satisfying at real time speed though if that was 20 X regular speed 😅

Glad you enjoy. Some parts are great at normal speed however sanding how I wish I could get that done at 20 x speed!!!!
