It's a shame that they tear those historic building down instead of fixing them up. Take care brother and YHVH bless.
Thank you thank you very much❤👑🙏👍👌💯🎤🎸#1always!!!Rip Elvis,
They should have kept the historic building. Heartbreak Hotel is like an international anthem. Thanks Spa Guy for this.Ashley got a sharp eye & you have a great singing voice.
Elvis is in heaven
I have been to Studio B twice when it was close the the Old Country Music Hall of Fame...
Soooo thankful to you for at least making these historic, MUCH LOVED, TREASURED LANDMARKS documented!! We Elvis People cling to every thing you can preserve, even though it's just a memory ......we at least know where these worldly events happened!! Why CAN'T WE GET AN ELVIS PRESLEY INTERNATIONAL DAY ON HIS BIRTHDAY? No one deserves this HONOR MORE! THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER ELVIS PRESLEY !

Jo també crec q s hauria d dedicar un dia a Elvis, may no hi haurà un altre Elvis. Elvis per sempre
My daddy was in the army in Germany when Elvis was, he used to see him around the base and town
Heartbreaking tales of popmusic history as can only be told by the perrenial NO. 1 ELVIS ARCHIVIST IN THE WORLD. Am all shook up again but thanks OUR SPAGUY!!!
Your right Billy , trying to erase history is nonsense , Memphis grew because of Elvis , its ashame
Tons of Elvis classics were recorded at Studio B between 1958-71.
I guess they really needed the parking lot more than the studio. I'm glad the other buildings are still there. Elvis looks really sharp in his uniform. Thanks for sharing these videos Billy.
Billy, You are truly my Elvis Archive Ambassador..Elvis Hisorical Hero! I am heavily interested in all the background history of anything ELVIS. I have been that way for years. I am all about detail and am so appreciative of your pain staking efforts to make that happen. I am truly blessed that you do such a thing. You have no idea what that means to me. I show my father who is a HUGE Elvis fan your videos. We have been to Graceland more than 10 times since 1979 and still always much to learn about this facinating fella. Thank you..thank you very much!! Rowland

I wish My husband would take me to Graceland just one time in my life!
What a shame , they could have made the recording studio into a museum.
I wish they would leave the historical buildings alone . I have been in studio B in Feb. 1989 . I remember them telling them us that Elvis made records there . I'm so glad you shared this Spa Guy . I love it . I have pictures of one of Elvis's car's at the country music Hall of Fame . The top of the car is opened up . I wish I could shared that picture on here .
Love this guy, one of the best Elvis historians on the net.
So very , very kool !!! #MeantToBe ✨🎼🎤🎸✨🏆
Somebody beat me to it again: Billy, yes indeed, you are THE Elvis Archive Ambassador. Thank you for this fantastic and educational video.

Barbara private how so cool great viewing yes indeed billy it's ashame a great shame it don't stay the same..... Wow great stuff. ...( Billy) alot of memories there Just sad ok l
Elvis actually only recorded one session in Studio B in the 1950s, the 1958 session when he was on leave from the Army (and when the photo was taken of him outside the building in his uniform). He wore his uniform throughout the session and if you listen to the studio tapes, he inserts several Army phrases into the between-song banter ("at ease," "attention," etc.). Most of his other post-Sun 50s hits were either recorded in the now torn-down studio shown at the beginning of the video, Radio Recorders in Hollywood, or RCA's studio in New York. The studio that was torn down survived up until 2005. While the inside likely wasn't as well-preserved as Studio B is, it was still a pretty historic building. Many of those huge early hits from the Everly Brothers were also recorded there.
Excellente! Thank you!
Elvis por siempre!!!! México te recuerda
In the late 1980s I stopped by Scotty duplicating service and asked if Scotty was in and if so, would it be possible to meet him and get an autograph. The lady there said that he wasn't there at the moment but if I didn't mind coming back later she would at least get him to give me an autograph. I did indeed stop back later and sure enough, Scotty gave me his autograph. Not only did he give me his autograph, but his autograph is on his companies letterhead from this very location. I did finally get to meet Scotty not once, but on three different occasions later on. Truly a lifetime dream come true to meet such a legendary guitar player that was there from the very beginning. I just don't believe for a moment Elvis would have had that sound or style at all without Scotty. Without Scotty, we would be hearing a different kind of sound from Elvis in the beginning and perhaps Elvis may not have become as iconic as he has become. Scotty Moore.......LEGENDARY! As usual, great, great video my friend.A damned shame they even consider tearing down such historic sites. What's the matter with Nashville politicians?
Greeting from Canada 🇨🇦 my friend your video is so interesting and amazing thank you for sharing your video
I'm a big Elvis fan. I love what you do Spa Guy. Your cool just like Elvis was, keep up the good work.
Fantastic video again please keep em coming Spa Guy - love all your Elvis videos
great video
This is my childhood Spa Guy. Thank you for making it real. I’ll be visiting for the first time next month. It’s almost surreal.
Come rain or shine, sleet or snow. The Spa Guy will always let us know.😀 thanks again!
Very nice work on that, I can't see enough of anything related to the king, I see stuff like this, and think why did Elvis die so young, there was so much more for him to do, life to live, RCA is cool, thanks buddy 👍
Once again Spa guy you do a great job. with letting us fans know more about Elvis life and we thank you for that. Please keep up the good work fan for life.
History indeed! Thanks.
One of the most significant and important buildings in music history. Maybe they are so close to it they can't see how historic and important it is. Amazed it's not become a tourist sight like Abbey Road in London. As for tearing down studio A as Joni Mitchell sang "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot". Cool bit at the end with the photo Ashley Drew found.
Just when I think you can't top yourself, you do! My favorite part was the birds whistling. Nothing like the sounds of happy birds in the south. Sweet Inspiration! TY once again SpaGuy!!!
That pic of Elvis in uniform, from what I know............would have been AFTER his Ft Hood Tx AIT (Tank School) and on leave and then he would have gone to New York ,I think, to catch a Ship to go to Friedberg Germany in 1/32 Armor Bn. Where I was in 1980. :) Thanks Billy. Hey man if you ever need any info about His & My old unit & locations, let me know ok? I lived just up the street from the house he rented there in Bad Nauhiem Germany too:) (and earlier I was his neighbor again in Horn Lake MS at The Circle G in 67 & 68) :) Small World TCB!! ___________________________ LONG side note:) Billy, I never really put it together till now, as I watch your video but you got me to thinkin' man: *He was from Memphis(Tupelo actually in the beginning), I was too *He ate at Colettas Café in Memphis and my mama worked there, about that time. She told me of seeing him there so it MAY have been at the same time(s)... *He lived or Stayed at The Circle G Ranch in the late 1960s and I lived next door in that trailer park that used to be there...at Hwy 301 & Nail Rd.(Drive way is still there by the lakes) *He went in the Army & I did too. *He was stationed in Texas.....yep and I was TOO!! :) *He was trained on Tanks & I was too. *He went to Friedberg Germany & I did too. *He lived IN Bad Nauhiem & I did too...... ((WAIT....Theres MORE! LOL)) *When he got to 1/32 Armor at Ray Barracks in 58 , they took him OFF of tanks and placed him in the Recon Scout Platoon and THAT is exactly what they did to me. I was a SSG/E-6 in the recon scout platoon from Mar 1980 - 1983 *I was IN Germany on Aug of 77 when the AFN American TV station told of his death and I cried like a family member had passed away. Man it was terrible, well to me it was. :( *I played music professionally for 30+ years in country bands. That is so strange............what a VERY small world it is indeed ? Thanks for the long post & reading my old soldiers war stories :) Show less
Just visited this last week on a trip from England. Thanks again and stay tight Billy.
They paved paradise......
Thanks Billy for all your hard work in Investigating each story. Its much appreciated by all.
Thanks Billy. You are great at bringing us Elvis facts and information. Love it.
Thanks for sharing all this history with us 🤗
Hi there, I firstly want to say thank you so much for your fantastic uploads, I watch them regularly and find them fascinating and packed with good information. I went to studio B in the September of 2016 on a tour and wow it was such a spiritual experience for me. I can't believe that so many singers recorded their songs here, let alone Elvis!! So glad they saved the studio and didn't tear it down like the Heartbreak Hotel. These places are so full of history for people like me who was only six years old when Elvis passed and from the U.K. I did, so my mum says, cry when I saw it on the news that sad day. I apparently said "who's going to sing teddy bear to me now?" I love Elvis with a passion and his music is my favourite. I'm going to be visiting Graceland, Tupelo, studio B etc when I come back to the U.S. again in September 2018. Can't wait!! Maybe you could pop by, would love to meet you. Keep uploading your fantastic uploads, the information is paramount.. Vicky Uk xx
all your videos are treasures !
demolishing Iconic building's is too common here in LA. good to see you Spa Guy. Robert.
Thank you once again Mr. Spa Guy/ Billy for the great Elvis trivia. I always look forward to your next video on Elvis trivia. Cool picture of Elvis. The way they keep turning the recording studios and places Elvis freaked into parking lots and gas stations there won't be anything left that had Elvis connected to them...so awfully sad to see history disappear like that. Tighten up.
Hi Billy from the UK. Excellent program as always. Thank you, thank you very much!
Great Video my friend, I toured Studio B in 1990
go Billy go !
you do a good Elvis to thank you for the look in .
As always, awesome video and history! If I could go back in time there would be two individuals I'd like to hang out with. Elvis and Johnny Cash!!
They paved paradise and put in a parking lot.
Once again Spa guy many thanks for these little gems you bring to us, 👍 keep them coming, all the best- John (UK)
love these videos
That last picture was great! Never seen it before! Thanks again for this very nice and informative video (And you forgot to mention my favorite from the sessions, 'I Got Stung' also recorded in June '58) ;-)
Again and Again you get it done! another great job thank you, I only wish the Country Music Hall of Fhame understood how important and valuable your love and work for E fans is!
Great as always !!!!
Love your videos Spa Guy. They are inspiring me.

@@SpaGuy hey spa guy, I just discovered your videos a month ago and have been going through them nonstop. I actually went to studio B after seeing your video. I had seen it before, but without seeing the photos of Elvis there. I’m from Pittsburgh and have lived in Nashville since 2015. I’ve been listening to Elvis since I was a kid. There were more photos of Elvis in the house than of me and my sisters when I was growing up, so I’m an Elvis purist as you like to say!
Gosh, I love this stuff!! Not only that but it's so nice knowing there's someone out there that loves and appreciates Elvis the way I do! Good job, Spa Guy
Great video as always.. Thank you spa guy !!
Wow just a very good video . Thank you for doing this !!!! Take care .
another great video, or small documentary actually. FTD used that picture of Elvis and entourage entering the studio inside the album 'I sing all kinds'. This studio is where Elvis did the recordings better known as the Nashville marathon if I am not mistaken. Thanks again Spa Guy :-)
Very cool, thanks once again!
Well done , thanks.
Thanks so much for your Elvis history videos
Another great video. That is history right there. It makes me sad when historical buildings are torn down like that original recording studio is now a parking lot ugh 😑
What a shame!!! A parking lot today, musical history being erased!!!! Very sad!!!!
I know more about Elvis history since watching your channel. My next trip to Memphis Will be entertaining. I live in Paducah, KY just North of Nashville and Memphis. It is 2 hours to Nashville and 3 to Memphis.
my boy my boy...a parking lot...sad
Beautific! Great work, as always...:)
Another awesome video Spa Guy!!!! Thank you so much for all that you do!!!
It should have been a museum.... that is sad...
I loved seeing the pic of Elvis in his service uniform, more special the pic taken in Nashville. It is sad historic buildings torn down here. I wonder how many times Elvis came to record here and other events. A relative was at the Capitol when Elvis was made Honorary Mayor (if right) by Governor Ellington, wish I had been there that day. MUSIC CITY USA PROUD!

Spa Guy, I could not find your story again about where Elvis got a speeding ticket in Memphis, TN. Rufus Thomas was an African Amercian singer. He is one of the African American singers Sam Phillips leaded (as it was said). He was also a DJ, one who played Elvis' recordings. He was born in Mississippi in 1917, died in Memphis in 2001, remember when announced. He recorded in Nashville too, thought had an association here. I imagine he was much an influence to Elvis, as other African American musicians and singers were very early in his life. Wikipedia has info on Rufus Thomas. You may want to feature him.
So interesting.. Thank you for the time you spend on these Spa G!
Great job billy love to watch all your research videos of elvis and all the history you come up with. Love to meet you someday your research and work is incredible! Thank you sir! And tighten up each chance you get....Rick Ashley Bloomington il.

great great great video..thanks....i´m from Germany and i was in Nashville in 1984 and i was at Studio B. There was a tour that we had, visiting the the studio with many legendary instruments, like a piano on wich Elvis played. I saw the control room and all the mixing boards. I still have pictures, a little history book and even a self recorded audio of the studio-tour. I also have about eight hours of self filmed material from my Nashville-Time back then and i guess there is short clip of Studio B and how it looked like. I´m glad that you picked the story up. There´s so much history in that place. TCB
This was very interesting. I love the way you cover everything. You see things that I would never think of but I'm glad you did. Thanks SG.
I loved visiting Studio B, I got the chills in that room where Elvis recorded! Did you see the broken cabinet that he kicked in and the Steinway he used to record? So cool. I got a few photos with my iPhone and actually, one pic of the ceiling lighting that I took was reposted by RCA Studio B on Instagram as their pic of the day! I'm so glad this place is being preserved. Love your videos SG!
Been. There so..many. Times. I. Hated. When. The. City tore down. The old. Studio same. As. If. You. Go. Down. To. Music. Row. All. That. Has changed. I hope. This. Stays. Up. Elvis had so many. Hits. Come. Out. Of. That. Building. As. Legand Has. It. He. Preformed. One. Time. In 1973. At. The. Old. Municipal audtoriam. Which. Still. Stands to. This day
Nice video !!!!!!! Very Informative material. Nice job.
Love these videos, so much history and too see all these historic buildings and where Elvis was is amazing!
Como eu gostaria de conhecer um pouco dos lugares onde Elvis Presley gravou, cantou, onde pisou. LENDA.
Thanks again
So sad that so many Historical sites are torn down. I really enjoy your videos, and that you believe in God. Thank you for sharing:) God Bless and virtual Hug
Love your work TcB
I couldn't live in a city with so much history! Why? Cause I could never do my job or spend time with my family cause I would drive around all day everyday just looking at sites!
One would THINK that the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame would TRY to preserve these locations and historical places. So sad. I share your "Elvis" videos on my Facebook page, I hope you don't mind. Thank you Billy for bringing this to us... You DA MAN Hoss!!! :) Herb
very cool billy
Love your videos. You do so much work to get these out to us. You can save us a ton of research time and driving around as you have done it yourself on things lots of us would never think of. More things to see when we go to Nashville and Memphis. Keep up the great work.
Great ...just great !!!😎👌
