I know the meaning is more like "lament" or something, but "regret" is funny to me because that word suggest Bob had a hand in it as opposed to just hating that it happened. Mostly funny to me because Bob has more in common with those he lambasts than he thinks

Well yes, but Eugenics was pseudoscience to begin with. Typical technocrat behavior, they didn't account for economic growth or technological growth. Or cheapened supply costs. Or globalized trade connections. Or discovering we have hundreds of years worth of oil and other resources still undrilled. Basically Eugenics is total bullshit. Good thing they attached themselves to it imo.

Man this isn’t even a roast, it’s an outright execution. To hear such sustained, gleeful, and unapologetic laughter as they gradually build on the lore of their joke is pure savagery lmao. MovieBob is no more, only Diabeto remains.
