My favorite part of the throne room scene is when the knife dissapears, rey can make blades dissapear, so potent! Such a great character!

Mauler himself in his TLJ videos DID NOT spot the knife mistake - but I did. HMMMM ... Wonder if he knows what he's talking about.

Out of everything from the Pratorial Guard fight mistakes I seen, I can't believe that I have never noticed the guy who threw away his weapon just to be killed lol

To be fair, I think Kylo pushed it away with his lightsaber. But even if that would be true, it still would be a terrible combat performance by the guard... I guess they were only trained on doing over-the-top poses instead of accually fighting. Understandable when you are defending a stupidly overpowered force user, thus expect to never engage in any meaningful combat in the first place :D

@@vashythewabbit8288 Hmm. I just watched it again and I am not 100% sure. It looks like Kylo pushes his lightsaber upwards and the guard forward and both lightsaber/lance might meet outside the screen. Still would make no sense for why the guard would go for such an attack in the first place, but we have already pretty much agreed upon that these guards are terrible at fighting :D It also makes no sense that the weapon would fly off to the left instead of the right, since Kylo pushes his lightsaber upwards and more the right of the screen, not to the left where the lance flies off. I think it was intended that Kylo would push his lance away while pushing the two other guards away at the same time. So I would come to the conclusion that the choreography is just terrible, probably rushed in filming too, which is to be expected when having so many fighting actors on screen and probably so little production or preperation time for such complex scenes.

@@SETHthegodofchaos Like I said, it was mistimed. Maybe it was supposed to be the way you said it, but the weapon and the lightsaber didn't connect at all.

@@vashythewabbit8288 Again: They might connect outside of the screen. But maybe you are right too. They probably were supposed to hit each other earlier then it would have been mistimed. Then I wonder why that is and they didnt reshot the scene? But considering how many flaws there are in these scenes, I am not even sure if they cared at all >_

Good to know that the fans have taken it upon themselves to treasure and catalog the best parts of the best Podcast on earth.

It’s pretty funny coming back here and listening to the comparison of Sargon and MauLer and how Sargon is less popular when he makes his own stuff. And he now has his own production company. Maybe we’ll get an EFAP studios someday?

You can indeed lie to people to get them to do a positive thing, history is fairly ample with examples such as a famous Athenian statesman lying to the Athenian government in order to increase the size of the Athenian navy which would later turn out to be critical against the Persians. However there is always the chance that those lied to won't be very happy if they find out later, positive outcome or not.
