But it doesn't remotely change the fact these are ALL shitty traits they have..before they become the hero..and aknowledge they had bad traits And guardians are meant to be ragtag and shadyer but all still light-years more heroic A lot of the MCU characters have arcs or bad traits but it's FRAMED AS A BAD TRAIT She's doing this in the middle of the film, it isn't portrayed as negative, and she doesn't dial it back or realize she's arrogant & douchey And like they said, none of that changes how shitty she is to people and it's framed like she's in the right for brutally assaulting a guy for a guy being a minor annoyance, felony assault isn't okay in response to the mildest rude phrase It's got nothing to do with being a woman, Nat, Wanda, vastly better and awesome characters that actually have inspiring characters (at least til phase 4 where they also make them do morally questionable crap)

I only thought of the Xenomorph when Spider-Man mentioned the movie Alien

the Don better turn out to be MCU Ghost Rider, his old gang works for Mephisto in exchange for power and influence. Don goes to jail on a bike race turned hit and run accident, spends ten years in prison and misses his kids growing up; his wife remarries, kids are adults now, Captain Marvel assaulting him weighing on his mind as he spends the years away; he could get out of prison and think on his wife's last words to him before he went in: "This biker lifestyle changed you Don! Your not yourself anymore! The kids don't even know who their father is!" he then puts on his Hell's Angel's outfit and rides away from prison on a quest to hunt down his old biker gang in hopes of being forgiven by god for the murder he thinks he committed in that biker race ten years prior. It's not air tight, but hit me up Marvel. I have ideas we could temper together over a few REDRAFTS

Browntable usually makes great videos, but it’s a shame that this video was their first impression.

To be fair, the dude (The Don) was also at fault, I mean Captain Marvel clearly didn't care about him at first but he decided he wanted to be a little extra in harassing her. so she just used that guy to vent her frustration. I'm not saying I will do what she did but considering that throughout her amnesiac life she was working for the militaristic and aggressive Kree Empire, its no surprise she would did what she did. Its still a stupidly written scene, but in the context of the movie it makes sense.

You're right. She's basically an alien winter soldier whos' trying to get out of Kree programming.The only thing missing in the movie was Nick trying to teach her how to be more humane, which is ironic considering his shady future self. The writer/director had all the pieces there, but not the artistic eyes to Assemble them. Because that would imply a woman needs to be 'mansplained' to improve, when really, we all need others to improve. Contrary to what the movie would have you believe, we're not born perfect.
