Eddie Murphy on Getting Snowed in at Rick James’ House, Michael Jackson Impersonation & You People
Комедия
Eddie talks about the earthquake we had in LA, receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes, sending texts back and forth with Tracy Morgan quoting Planet of the Apes, the reason he turned down a Star Trek movie, watching Cocoon at Sammy Davis Jr’s house, his friendship with Michael Jackson, meeting Bubbles, making a documentary about his life, getting snowed in Rick James’ house for two weeks, his new movie You People with Jonah Hill, being on SNL in 1982, Robert Blake getting banned from show, his entourage, the most naturally funny person he has ever met, buying the original painting from Good Times, shooting Beverly Hills Cop 4, and never going to his good friend Arsenio Hall’s house.

With my first wife before we were married we went to Eddie Murphy show at a stadium where the Mall of America is now there was a Stadium where the Vikings played football and Eddie Murphy was doing that first show where he wore the red leather jumpsuit me and her we're only like 18 years old then I talked her into doing mushrooms and we couldn't find our car even though after we waited for everybody to leave it was only feet from us that was one of the best concerts or shows that we ever went to

@@salman19k but how can you say he hasn’t had any surgeries, we’re people there with him or do people know him. We can’t say or comment on whether he’s done it or not so i just wonder how people can be so sure that he’s done no surgeries
He is so fricking cool ,calm and collected. Such a chill guy
Despite his classic comedic persona ...his smile exudes a lot of positivity in the room. 🙏🏾🌥 He is more blessed as he ages.
I couldn't imagine going back in time and being in the same room with Eddie and Red Fox 😂 ... I think either you'd die of laughter or go crazy of laughter lol

Red Fox was pretty much broke when he died. Owed lots of money to the IRS. To make sure he had a proper burial, Eddie Murphy paid for his grave. ❤

@@vwboymom85 When Eddie made, "Harlem Nights", to have Eddie, Redd Foxx and Richard Pryor working together was like having the Avengers of Comedy. If you think about it, it's quite common for comedians to have tragic lives. It's always been that way.

@@vwboymom85 Yup...The Royal Family was really a favor Eddie did for Redd to help him out. Of course, the fact it started as a surprise hit on CBS didn't do anything to hurt his pockets, but yeah...he really idolized Redd. That show...it's incredible that the cast members we lost were the two oldest (Redd Foxx and Della Reese) and the youngest (Naya Rivera).
Jimmy Kimmel does great interviews...I never get tired of watching this interview with Eddie Murphy..I've seen it about 1000 times...Thank you..💯💯💯💯💯💯
In my opinion........Eddie Murphy is the funniest man of all time ! Legendary... I idolized him as a little boy, watching him preform and absolutely master his craft. What a time to be alive .... Smooth and says so much without hardly speaking.
I could listen to Eddie or his late brother tell stories for hours.

I wish Charlie Murphy and Chapelle would have done more of those Hollywood Stories skits. They only did a couple, and those are comedy classics. I wish they'd done, like, at least a dozen of them.

"Don't go near the cage" is such a Michael Jackson thing to say. :D
Right Eddie Murphy deserve his flowers before he dead, top favorite.
The gift that keeps on giving, such a joy to see him casually speak.
It's nice to see Eddie Murphy talk positively about MJ like a true friend, and especially this 5:36 lol. I could definitely imagine MJ saying that XD.
This was so Awesome with Eddie Murphy. Thank you Jimmy Kimmel for another great interview.

Eddie's outfit would be my business attire, love it, still my favorite comedian/actor to this day. Netflix really needs to give him a comedy special.

He's the biggest camelion in entertainment history for me The guy started out as a fantastic stand up comedian with dark humor Then played movie roles from African royalty to Animal speaking doctor. He was on harlem nights a very dark 30s throwback nightclub kinda movie then was in the haunted mansion a typical family comedy. Does shrek but then does movies about loneliness and heavy adult topics. He is just a treasure of an entertainer

Im SO GLAD he is BACK I miss seeing him , HE IS SUCH JOY TO WATCH
I literally adore Eddie Murphy and his work. I watch Beverly Hills Cops 1+2 over and over again.
Eddie Murphy stopped a teenager beer party in the 80's. I was at this house party full of high school kids, somebody put in the Delirious VHS tape and the music stopped, and everyone gathered and watched the entire thing.
