Jimmy Kimmel Interviews Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg & Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson
Комедия
Dr. Dre makes his first late night television appearance in over 30 years! He talks about getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, LA coming out to support him, fans he has met throughout the years including a group of nuns, the many artists he has worked with, the collaborative process of making a track or album, using samples from old albums, and using random objects to create songs. Then Snoop joins to talk about how he met Dr. Dre, how they came up with the name “The Chronic” (which they disagree on), being unavailable to record a demo of Nuthin’ but a “G” Thang, recording new music together for their new album “Missionary,” and making Gin & Juice together. Then Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson joins to talk about what Dr. Dre means to him, getting introduced to him by Eminem, what he did with his first million dollars, practicing abstinence, and they all talk about playing the Super Bowl together, being nervous to play their music for Dre, their group text chains, and Dre announces that Eminem is working on a new album that will be coming out this year!

Dre is the boss, but 50 ain't the type of give submission. I can tell from the body language, Dre got slightly intimidated when 50 showed up, but then he reasserted his leadership half way through the interview. Snoop is charismatic but he knows as a artist, he would be nothing without Dre. 50 is a hot head just like your typical hood legend, under Dre's guidance, 50 is what he is today. 50 is very similar to these new era drill rappers because he is petty just like them, guys like him usually don't survive the block, they have way too much pride and it gets them in trouble. I know for a fact, Dre has talked 50 out of making bad decisions many times in his career. Dre knows if he doesn't, 50 could easily go down the route of Suge Knight.

man it was horrible when Dre left Death Row, Snoop n Dre had beef dor like 3 or 4 years but when they dropped Still D.R.E. and it was like the wonder twins got back together , like if Scottie Pippen n Jordan woulda made a comeback together. it was so crazy yo, when 2001 dropped, it was stuck in EVERYONES cd player for months. no lie every party we went to, every time in the whip,2001 played evwrywhere, then here comes 50 with Get Rich and Lil Jon started the Crunk movement n the south just took over for like a decade, TI n Jeezy n Gucci Mane had the trap blow up.....and then Lil Wayne got mad. he knew he had to save Cash Money. and he became a damn monster 😅 he became somethin more than a monster. and went on like a 7 year run where he literally turned every single track he was featured on was #1 no matter what, every time. Then Mumble Rap and Drill and SoundCloud Emo cornballs have been ruining rap ever since.

You mean Puff Diddler?
I like how Dre answers questions with detail and doesn’t make the interview boring like many other artists do. Passion is still there and amazing to listen to some of this info

I have honestly never seen such an incredible interview… such a rare trio! Thankyou for making this possible, my only criticism is that it wasn’t longer 😂💯
Literally one of the best interviews I've ever watched! ❤😢
I absolutely love Snoop. He is so completely himself. Genuinely real.

Snoop is just sitting there relaxing reminiscing on the memories of how they all become the G.O.A.T in hip hop coming from way back

Oran, Snoop was sitting there high. LOL. He said how he got Guermo in the bathroom and got him "right". Snoop is known for going into bathrooms and doing what he does before being interviewed, etc. He said he even did that at the White House at events when President Obama was in office. 🚬 (That image will have to do since they don't have the one I was looking for for Snoop.)

By snaking on knocking down real Rappers & black influence like Pac & may others who are now dead & gone in the most corrupt of ways. Nothing to be proud of there, there Hollywood's sellouts now.
True hiphop legends right there 🫡🫡🫡
I don't think Jimmy will ever a do a better interview than this masterpiece! Very few artists are in the same level with these 3 legends! Imagine if Em is here

This brings me so much joy. I was the biggest NWA fan, followed Ice Cube when he left, then watched Dre with his introduction of Snoop, his magic with Tupac and then introduction of 50, Eminem, Kendrick and the others…This dude is a whole vibe of uniquely talented folks in their own right. It looks like his honesty has kept them grounded and reaching for that next hit. Everybody needs a truth teller in their life. I love these dudes and love how they have succeeded in so many other endeavors, so proud to see us making real honest generational wealth.
