What really makes Eddie Izzard awesome is his ability to act. An addition to being funny as hell, he's an amazing actor. He really sets up the scene for you and gets you to visualize everything. It's hard to believe that this is a one-man show! Brilliant!

I watched a boring movie called "Victoria and Abdul" last year. The only character I liked was the douchebag Prince of Wales but didn't realize it was Eddie Izzard until I saw the credits. He is an amazing actor indeed!

I actually spoke to Eddie on the phone today. He called in to the company I work for as he uses our software and he needed some assistance! I couldn't believe it when he said ''it is Eddie Izzard'' I was actually speechless! Completely star struck! I absolutely love Eddies work!

Lucky you!!! When he was in Toronto, we saw her from front seats. She held a Q & A afterward and I chicken out asking if she'd like to go for a drink with us after. LOL

I've been in IT for several years and have multiple IT degrees and certifications. That being said, getting a print server to function correctly in a corporate domain environment still makes me facepalm from time to time. I have a printer fail pic in my office of a printer with the caption "YOU HAD ONE JOB!". It always gets a laugh from techies.

@@Fermion. i concur. HP printer driver cd's.... with 100 shareware shit software ads fests, except the printer driver....... Today, still the same, now you need an account at hp, so all your prints n scans go through the hp cloud...... i am suuuuure they are soooo honest not to keep copies

I've probably commented on this before, but I'd just like to say that this may well be the funniest, most realistic and best piece of stand-up comedy I've ever seen. It's definitely Glorious, despite his little jokes in between that don't go down well. I'm gonna see if I can find this DVD so I can buy it.

Glorious and Definite Article are definitely his best two shows. Followed by Circle and then Unrepeatable and Dressed to Kill. Hard to rank them as I can sit there and watch each show over and over which I frequently do. He is just the greatest! How Peter Kay was ranked ahead of Eddie Izzard on the All Time Best British Comics List is beyond me!

this is by far his best show. one of the most original uses of material by a comedian.

I saw this show in London back when he was touring with it. I'm not sure I've ever laughed that much in my life before or since. My stomach muscles were in so much pain the next day.
