This recipe can make 8 steamed twisted roll
Ingredients:
* 300g All purpose flour 2cup+1tbsp
* 160g Warm water 1/2cup+2tbsp+ 2tsp
* 5g Sugar 1/2tbsp
* 3g Yeast 1 tsp
* Green onion
* Oil
* Salt
* Sichuan pepper/White pepper
Ferment for about 40 minutes, Then start steam with cold water. Steaming for about 12 minutes, then turn of the heat.

可以,按照做好的顺序上蒸笼哦,不然前面做的有可能发过头了,当天蒸好的晾凉之后放在保鲜袋里面就可以,避免风干

Great recipe and easy to follow. Very yummy. 😋 My 发卷 skin came out a little yellow after steaming. Is that normal? I used sourdough starter to replace yeast.

Thanks for your feedback. did you put some baking soda? too much baking soda will make the roll bun getting yellow. I think the sourdough starter is okay.
