Easy tackle box modifications. Fit more in a small tackle box.

Спорт

Easy tackle box modifications using the space you didn't know you had.
You've heard the expression "can't see the wood for the trees"? Well sometimes this happens to all of us, the obvious can be right in front of you yet we don't see it and there is a possibility that 'your' tackle box has more space than you realised.
As a very keen shore angler and a product designer by trade, combining my hobby with my inventive mind gives me some ideas of how we can improve on certain bits of fishing tackle or the way that we fish of which I would like to pass on to you. Some you won't like but maybe some ideas you will like? My purpose in my videos is to show what I have done or have an idea about that could just make fishing that little easier. What I mean by that is; less hassle and more time for fishing.
All fisherman have those day's were nothing seems to go right so by elevating some things that are a bit awkward or fiddly can help to reduce "those days".
In this video I show how I utilise space within and outside of my tackle box and also a couple of simple modifications that can also help makes things a little easier or hassle free. By expanding the room in your tackle box helps keep it tidy and quick to find things, an organised tackle box.
Fishing spools with spare fishing line on them stored away from everything else and yet has easy tackle box access. Using and utilising the glaringly obvious space within the tackle box that we all seem to overlook. A quick fix to an annoying tackle box lid and more.

I’ve got one of those boxes for boat fishing but it’s just too small for shore fishing. For beach gear it’s got to be a Shakey Beta Box with Breakaway Back Rest Conversion.

@@landlockedseafishing I’d argue that a Beta Box (well organised, like mine is) with a Breakaway Seat Conversion, is easier to carry than the Daiwa box on a strap. Unless you put the Daiwa backpack conversion (with its 6 fasteners) onto your box?

Whenever I go for a new rig in the lower box, there are always stray hooks .So, to make the middle tray of the box less top heavy ,I've taken the bottom ×2 clear lids of the top lid near the hinges off. The large foam round rig winders I've cut down a bit with a junior hacksaw then cut a 'V' into the flattened end so you can wind rigs on. I can get 4 rigs each side and / or the small rig winders or bits box's in the middle between them. That's the tray next to the hinges. I put the leads towards the front of the lower box. To stop the box tipping backwards. Just an idea.
