When I bought mine it came with the lid ditached and you have to put the metal bar through the back hinge and it was a pain to get through took me ages,best thing is to oil the bar first, great vid mate. 👍

I have seen people use sticky velcro to hold the rig winder tray and the other tray, possibly a cleaner option than drilling a lot of holes in the box.

Hi matey. Yer I have not been to well of late and only just getting back into it now. Going to be working on sea fishing for a bit then in the summer Do a bit of the local area. Will the two trays still fit in the box, at the top, with the gas rams fitted please, or will the rams only let one tray fit.

90%of my mates alter their boxes with similar mods can understand why the big names like Shakespeare make a box with these mods on

Could you of not drilled holes in the utility tray for the rams to go through then you could of positioned it at the back like you wanted. But thanks for video its a great help
