Miss Ana, Please consider, unless you have already have and I missed it, a presentation on setting up a efficient woodworking shop. I recognize there are many online examples, but your's appears to flow well. Preparing to repurpose a portion of my garage for grandpa's woodworking shop to accommodate the needs of our first grandchild. Thank you.

That's awesome
My son directed the construction of two sets of boards and organized a game event at an assisted living center as part of his Eagle Scout project. The plans we found online were similar to these and they are very easy to build--unless you're trying to corral teams of 12-16 years olds to do it. He also had them install wheels on the bottom so they could be moved more easily, and used 1 X 4 for one set so they could be moved more easily or placed on table tops.

It's literally tossing bags of corn at a hole.
What’s the angle cut at on the bottom of the legs. I didn’t notice it in the plans. Thanks
Could I use Kreg screws with this as well ?
I have used the paint can for my Hole Template. Easy to trace. Ana - could you show us how to build a life sized Connect Four game? I made one - people loved it - but it looked like Homer Simpson built it :(

Do you need to put any coat of sealer on top?
@AnaWhiteDIY
2 жыл бұрын
Yes I would, we are waiting on the decals, then will clear coat over top
What a fun project! Do you think adding some kind of sealer to would be a good idea? I’m worried about the unpainted portion
🆗👍

I would recommend taking the shopping list from the plan and pricing it with your local lumber stores. Here is the link that breaks all the materials down www.ana-white.com/woodworking-projects/easiest-corn-hole-plans-free-printable-pdf Thanks for the visit!

Why 47 3/4 for the sides? Why wouldnt you just make them 4'?

With the fluctution in wood costs, I would recommend grabbing the material list and have it quoted out locally. Thanks for the visit!
“I am cornholio!”
You do know that the frame is a Rectangle and not a Square eh Ana..
The real name is the beanbag game but some jerk hijacked it and gave it a new nasty name which I will not say
That’s not the easiest cornhole…technically.
You can use 1x4s instead of the 2x4 to deduce the weight. Also to make these regulation height there is a bit more math for the leg bolt position and the leg length. Also I would recommend not having the board ends of the sides touching the ground. This wicks up water and rots the boards very quickly. Just cut the footer board longer and remove the difference from the side rails. Here is how I made mine: www.instructables.com/60-Cornhole-Boards/
