This is easily an underrated video on this subject. I appreciate your forethought in design and pointing out your mistakes and how you overcame them. This is great. Thanks
FINALLY!! A completely honest youtube channel about building cornhole boards. I do have a few suggestions though. 1. Put another washer on the leg between the 2x4 and leg itself. It'll make the movement smoother even if the wood swells a little. 2. Instead of your side pieces being so long, make your top & bottom pieces longer. It'll make it look nicer and your end grain won't be sitting on the ground so much.

I’d like to see a router used to round out the edges of the plywood, or top board. Also for the 6” hole. I have a 6” hole saw, but sometimes that thing will catch and try to turn my arm into a pretzel.
@SpencleyDesignCo

Rounding over the edges is a great idea!
To get more complex you can add cut outs for handles on the sides and add magnets to the legs and bottom of board so they stay in place when moving them
@SpencleyDesignCo

Great ideas!
great video! a couple thing i did for my set was: 1) I used vinyl sleeves over the carriage bolts to help increase the life of the legs so wood is not rubbing the metal. 2) pocket holes from the bottom to secure the top, this helps keep a uniform playing surface. 3)a bracing piece in the middle to help prevent the bags from bouncing too much.

I will say, in watching your video again I did catch a small error. In the very beginning you say that the project will need "3" 2x4's but in the text (and ultimately you do end up needing) "Four" 2.x4 boards. Just an fyi. Still the best video out there!!!

Haha yeah, definitely would have to increase the price if I was making more of these!
Good plans but 3/4 with 2×4's? How heavy are those fkrs?
I have made a few of these corn hole games. The only problem I usually have is the legs. The measurement down to the bolt goes in on the leg itself and the side of the board. In the video I do not believe you mentioned that measurement. Great looking products though.

It seems like 3 @ 96” 2x4’s is not enough for the job. 48x4 takes 2 of them. 4@21” is 84” and 4@13” is 52” which puts it 40” short. Unless you have a special way to stretch that wood. Folks will get the pieces that you said and then wonder why they are short on wood. Just my thoughts brother.
