Dynamic Sway Bar Disconnect- by SDI

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This solution is very much in the prototype phase, but we still wanted to share with you yet some more cool tech from SDi. A dynamic Sawy Bar control that eliminates the need to connect and disconnect the sway bar. The system does it all for you and actives it when you need it, Disconnects it when you don't. Amazing tech that I hope makes it to the Raptor. Jeep Keep is in development but we don't have any details on when it will be released so stay tuned once it's ready as we will put it through its paces.

I would love this on my Raptor. Absolutely love my SDI E-click with revalve. This would take it to the next level!

They always working on universal system. For this though Jeep and Raptor come first and then you’ll start to see a universal system and other vehicles added. But at its core, Eclick has to support your vehicle and it will be used in conjunction with live valve shocks

This is a bit different. The Jeep system just disconnect the sway bar in the middle and only works in 4 low. This system independently works on both sides and works at any speed to active and disconnect the sway as needed. Very impressive and leaps and bounds from what the OEMs have provided

Are we not going to mention the bronco has this on the badlands trim? Perhaps not exactly this design but auto connects above 20 mph

I’ve got this on my bronco badlands. Ford brought this to market in 2021 perhaps not the same exact system. But with the push of a button, it automatically disconnects and re-engages when vehicle reaches 20 mph.

The bronco system is just like the Jeep system. Sway bar disconnects at the middle. Ends are still connected and it’s only an off or on, no in between. This systems works at any speeds, on any trail conditions, and any suspension config. It’s also independent on both sides. So for example say your booming down the desert on even terrain at 65mph, it will stay disconnected. But then you make a turn at speed, the system will recognize that and stiffen up to keep you more level across the turn. OEM systems are not doing that

The Dodge Power Wagons had this feature since 2007, but it had issues with the motor getting stuck or not disengaging at all. SDi’s solution seems better in the sense that there is an inherent failsafe being a valved shock and more adjustability

Yeah. Power wagon and jeep have the system that disconnects in the middle. Basically splitting the sway bar in 2. And unfortunately only available in 4 low. This uses small shocks and can be available to stiffen of loosen as needed, anytime, in any drive mode. So for us raptor guys, we can have a disconnected sway bar while doing a fast straight trail and won’t get jarred, but yet it will engage when we hit a turn and get no body roll. Its a killer setup
