    I really like what Grove is doing with the Badlands Jack and accessories. Hope he releases that shovel soon. Grove,Don’t be afraid of the cost man. If PE can charge what they charge for their jack you can charge what you want for a good shovel head. Small business. I just wish someone would make the badlands mount for no wheels. I’m a bigger fan of skids instead. Good video KID

    Thanks man. And agree. Someone needs to make a skid and mount for the HF 2 ton race jack. And not just because it’s green and would look great on my truck.

    Grove is killing it! Badlands is super heavy for an in-bed truck jack. But, it does the job, so well. I actually use it in my garage now, for all truck related stuff. Good vid, bud!

    I think 245 for the mount is too steep. That's more than i just bought the badlands jack for and it's just a box. Looks like he's got a sweet ecosystem for the badlands though.

    Couple things to consider. The mount option from Pro Eagle costs the same and it’s made out of aluminum and comes raw. This is steel comes powder coated and comes with a nice ecosystem of accessories support that he keeps growing at a much better price. To me it’s more than worth it to get a quality product from a small company.

    What are your thoughts on a bottle jack for off road? I have the badlands and was considering a bottle jack for packaging considerations. I didn't know if you could alleviate the stability concerns with one of those plates you put under the bottle jack.

  • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad

    @KeepItDirtyOffRoad

    Challenger will be height and speed. Offroad jack is a quick setup use and back out again. Drawback is weight. Bottle jack would require carrying boards, bases to spread the load and gain more height. Not sure you would get much space savings. And I definitely would not do a dark jack, even with the base I made for mine. Too unstable.

  • @sparda1123

    @sparda1123

    @@KeepItDirtyOffRoad thanks for the insight! I was looking at the safe jack base which I could possibly bolt to a built right panel in the bed. Then, leveraging the factory location for a bottle jack arb combo instead of eating up bed space mounting the bad lands. Trying to balance the whole it's my daily driver and not go full adventure rig while still increasing capabilities.

    I love my Pro Eagle Big wheel. I’ve had it for about 4 years and only needed to clean the pumps once (the right pump was sticking). I’ll spend more money on the Pro Eagle simply for them being the folks that are out there with us. A few things I don't want to buy are the Chinese knockoff jack or jack stands! With that being said, The Grove accessories do look nice. Nothing against them.

    They are solid jacks for sure. Mine lasted way more than it should have. And with a bit of rehab, I will work again. But ProEagle is not an American brand. They are made overseas as well. Made in Taiwan. Yeah I know. It was a surprise to me too a few years back when we did a shop tour. I was expecting some manufacturing or assembly. What we found was a warehouse. It’s on the box too just never saw it before .

    Im trying to understand the math done by some people. Pro Eagle $500, Badland Jack + mount $500 plus and people are saying they dont have the money. how does that work ? if you add the accessories will be more expensive then the jack itself.

  • @KeepItDirtyOffRoad

    @KeepItDirtyOffRoad

    5 күн бұрын

    @@mauropotiguar that’s how math work. For less money you get more than just the jack. And for offroad jacks you need a mount at minimum. So getting the jack and the mount for about the cost of just the pro Eagle is a huge savings. Pro Eagle with mount and cover that’s included your at $900 all in. For that same amount I can add every grove fab work accessory for the jack and have money left over. That’s a win and good value.
