It could also be that after the Coyote attack that Olaf sees Sven as a measure of protection as well.

It's very sad about the loss of the 3 siblings. These 2 BFFFFFs are amazing. Perhaps Olaf new his buddy needed him to fill that need. It is a very beautiful thing to see. I only wish we were all like that. Not looking at what you are, but who you are. Be safe everyone and have beautiful lives ❤️

I can't tell you how much I just love this!!! When I was growing Up in the seventies , we had a new friendly dog and Two pet ducks Named charlie brown and louis, lucy turned out to be A louie. L o l They also got along famously sitting together out in the yard.Especially when we ran the sprinkler.We didn't have a small pool but our newfoundland didn't fit in it. Love knows no boundary.

It probably started off as Olaf needing a protector after what happened with the coyote, but it turned into a need of a companion. My brother and I noticed a lot of birds after they have a scary encounter, they accept the guardian dog a lot more. Bro used to have fox problem, but once he got the dogs things changed. The birds didn't like them very much, but then after they chased off another fox, they accepted them.
