You need to check out his one take, 40 minute solo. I didn’t think I would actually sit through the entire thing, but I did and it’s mind blowing.

Yeah love the night verses stuff
I laugh every time you swear, just unexpected.
Dude I’ve been following aric for years He has a drum series he does in his KZread channel called attention deficit drumming He’s really pushing the limits of drumming in that series even if you don’t react to it you have to see it just as a drummer
"Jump over that M'fer" LOLOLOLOLOLOL> I felt you on that
Daaaaaaamn I remember watching that video and being amazed when I was younger
Night Verses (back when they had a vocalist years ago) was the first metal band I saw in an indoor venue, it was lifechanging. Aric did this same throne-jump-trick and really showed me what a true performance can be as a drummer
Youre videos are so entertaining & informative, I love watching them! Thanks! Keep them coming

"Oh shit" MADE ME LAUGH SO MUCH hahah so good
He is quite agile,to play solo like that. Yeah man . Steve you could check out the "This drummer is in the wrong gig " . That guy is entertaining as hell too
I saw that vid a while back. He definitely has some energy. That was awesome.
He plays with fever 333 check out the tiny dive bar gig
That was as much a gymnastic routine as it was a drum solo. There's no denying he's intensely well schooled and tremendously well rehearsed - that right there was the epitome of the pay-off of practice. For me, personally, I appreciate a drummer like Joe Morello much more.
Broooooooooooooooooooo. Awesome! Great commentary!
I've seen so many of the videos you analyze; it's awesome seeing them from a drummer's perspective. As a guitar player that is learning the drums, I am becoming a better player/communicator. Not just with drums, but as a guitarist. I've bettered my chemistry with the drummers I play with. Thanks for the time you've taken to make these videos.

That's rad!
Not a drum solo fan myself. But this was definitely unique and worth a watch! A lot of different skills on display. And yeah, should have jumped over at the end!!😆
Great vid mate,he plays in the fever 333 and night verses both insane
Aric is one of the best up and coming drummers out there. He has a cool drum solo where he does a backflip from one kit on to another kit while only resting for about a measure in a drum solo. He’s in a band now called Fever 333 and I’ve seen them perform twice in the last year, each time with so much energy and stage presence. You should definitely check out more of his, and his band’s, content! And he’s also in a now all-instrumental band called Night Verses, where they lost a vocalist but continued on as an instrumental trio (I think, not entirely sure) but their music is dope too!
7:27 “this guys my hero” lmao
People mention some of Aric's stuff below, but go to his ut channel Aric Improta for a great deal of content. He has Live performance, collaborations, random & technique practice... All original stuff, no covers, no drum competitions (that's all off postings from others). Peace
Recently found your channel, not a drummer but I wish I had a kit! People like Aric are seriously inspiring. One of my favorites of his is Copper Wasp, not his craziest but it’s so cool. I would also recommend checking out Dan Presland of Ne Obliviscaris!
Dude did a kick flip (or spin) with his throne! Lol!!
His drumming in Night Verses is 11/10
“Just jump over that Mother F•••ker” I’m cracking up!!!!
dude his copper wasp video is crazy
"The krrrrrrazzzziest drum solo ever!" So sarcastic hahahaha the counter for how much you said it was like 22,love your videos man :) hah
Chris Turner from Oceans Ate Alaska. Song: Escapist

Haha. Hopefully my meaning came across!!
He is really talented
He was mindblowing then, and then he got even better.
You gotta see xenochrist by the faceless. Crazy changes and speed man
I love how he crosses over but keeps his arms close to his body. Especially when some of his drums just look further away than they really are
He's in Night Verses and Fever 333. Night Verses are incredible and Aric kills it with them. I'd definitely recomend checking out Vice Wave or Copper Wasp by them.
Either have to check out his 40-minute - drum composition called "Blur-Lights in the Videodrome." Super compelling. Would also recommend the playthrough of Copper Wasp by Night Verses, Aric busts out some crazy chops in the beginning and the song grooves
id love to see you react to Chris Turner from Oceans Ate Alaska playing the song "escapist" he is my personal favorite drummer to watch play
Blew my fucking mind!!!
Be sure to eat some Golden Teachers. Listen to the entire album "From the Gallery of Sleep" by Night Versus, featuring this dude. 1Hr long, in order. You're welcome.
PLEASE do Steve Jordan! I'm a massive John Mayer fan so I know Steve's playing from the Try! era. His playing on Who did you think i was? Is so unique and more than deserves a video on him!
Please check out the drummer on Scary Goldings - "Humble Strut," which can be found on KZread. It's such a counterpoint to this; minimalist pocket playing, I was personally blown away. Hope you do a reaction to it. P.S. The drummer's name is Tamir Barzilay.
Like the flannel. What's your favorite drum brand and stick brand?
Hey man ARICS band is called Night Verses They rock live, I've seen them personally. They used to be a metal band but now they are full instrumental. Check them out
He plays for fever333 now. Pretty big band.
I know I’m here an entire month later... but he’s currently drumming in The Fever 333
I'd be interested in your take for the live drumcam of 'Darkside' doing Mgła's "Exercises in Futility V".

Great video! Even though I've probably requested a couple at this point, you should check out John Tempesta, he played with white zombie during their astro creep 2000 album and testament and a couple of other bands. But he's a great drummer, definitely worth checking out!

Ps.: Forget about that song I mentioned in my last request, Baard Kolstad just dropped a new playthrough today and it's out of this world: "Leprous - The Sky is Red (Drum Playthrough by Baard Kolstad)". Hey Steve! Dude you HAVE to Check our Chris Turner of Oceans Ate Alaska. Love your vids dude it’s growing really fast!🤘🏼
In the end He should have jumped over the drums landing in front yet throwing one stick at the snar and hitting the cymbal with his other hand to finish...woulda been a ninja finishing.

If you want beautiful/technical drumming check out Ne Obliviscaris. Their drummer has a KZread channel as well with play throughs, his name is Daniel Presland. Look up the song called “and plague flowers the kaleidoscope”
You've GOT TO check out some drum playthroughs from Chris Turner of Oceans Ate Alaska and Matt Greiner from August Burns Red
You should check out Matt Halpern of Periphery as well.
Request for David Garibaldi!! Great Channel!!

Nice video men, please react to meshuggah - Clockwork drum playtrough, salute from Argentina
I personally don't really like drum solo's much but I actually enjoyed that.
Tyler Blinn Drums: Eminem "Rap God" [DRUM COVER] you should try that. im not saying its 100% crazy all the way through, but its kinda like modern metal/rock/ prog drumming over a dam rap song and its pretty good more of an interesting/creative type video, rather than just full blown "watch what i can play" style
he came in second to a guy who was really fundamentally sound and technically perfect, but nowhere near as creative. no idea how that happened because it looked like the audience liked aric's solo a lot more. aric can really play.
one of the more memorable drum offs/duels i do remember is the sully erna/shannon larkin showdown live
Hey can you react to Eloy Casagrande “Manipulation of Tragedy”? I would love to see your reaction to it bro, thanks man 🍻

He doesn't play anything anywhere near as crazy as this in his bands (Fever 333 and Night Verses), this is him showing off in a way that he wouldn't dare do in a band setting.
5:11 That may not be the case, I don't know. He is obviously a very good solo drummer, but maybe he is not the best at playing with a band. That is a whole other can of beans. There are a shit ton of super talented guitar virtuoso types on here that are not in famous bands.
