I cant remember how I found your channel, but when I did, you had just over a thousand subs at the time. Now you’re up over 40k, and you totally deserve that and more. There’s something very endearing about your videos. A lot of “reactions” by more popular channels really just ham it up as much as possible. Where as you’re completely genuine. You’ll see their kit and make comments about what you’d like to see, what you think they’re going to do, etc. They’ll do something and you’ll be like a kid in a candy store, literally asking for it to happen again. Something will amaze you and instead of just leaving it at “that was dope!” You’ll add to it. Why it’s dope, why you like it rather than just liking it. You’re actually engrossed in what you’re watching, and it’s just really refreshing and entertaining. One of my favorites for sure. Keep up the solid work, my guy.

Good video, as always sir! I'm suprised that noone recommended Nic Pettersen (northlane drummer) yet, he went from a very energetic playstyle (Genesis/Scarab or Rot) to a very relaxed smooth playstyle (Leech or Hologram), and he is very fun to watch. The other one i would recommend to check out is Tobias Schuler from Der Weg Einer Freiheit, in Zeichen OR Ewigkeit (Drumcam live at Summer Breeze 2017), he has incredible stamina, and he does blastbeats like it's the easiest thing in the world. I would like to see your take on those two.

The toms are all clear emperors (10in, 12in, 13in, and 16in) the snare is a Remo coated reverse controlled dot. They all sound amazing and I’m an evans ec2 player... only thing that sucks is they don’t make them in 18in. But hey not everyone is rocking an 18in floor Tom. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hGRkr6Wrc8mTlMo.html Paul Gilbert and Marco Minneman - The Jackhammer Should definitely check this out if you watch any Marco. Perhaps not the right genre for a video on this channel, (I see it's mostly technical death metal) but just a bit of fun to watch. There's spacesuits, fog machines, and a fun tune full of guitar wankery and crazy drumming.

@@buckfuttler2877 Might be hard to find metal song performances. Perhaps the Culture Clash tour drum solo. Tiny bit of distorted guitar at the start of that video haha

@@Manbagdeluxe Garrett has done lots of non metal drummers on here. But i agree, culture clash tokyo solo is the one!
This album is phenomenal!!! I can throw it on and it's a soundtrack to whatever I'm up to at that time. These guys are tight and this dude is a MONSTER.
YES!
That was pretty fire

Actually adding to my own comment- he sorta reminds me of Luke Holland in his approach at times yet strong with his own identity and adding little percussive surprises makes for a fantastic video .Very entertaining
These are the kind of reactions I tune in for dude. Up there with the Mesuggah Clockwork and Snarky Puppy ones x
my favorite band lately
Just saw these guys live touring with the Faceless, Night Verses is FUCKING AMAZING!
"WOAH WAIT A MINUTE HAVENT SEEN THAT!!" welcome to Aric lmao
This dude just blew my fucking head off. I have not seriously been so excited about a new musician in a very, VERY long time. Ho-LEE FUK!!!
Damn, that was tight.
Finally! 🤘🔥🤘
Rad indeed!
Man that was fucking sick
Danny Carey | "Pneuma" by Tool (LIVE IN CONCERT)
I'm not even a drummer but I absolutely love your input on the techniques and stuff of the drummers you watch :P I'm totally okay if you do that more
From the Gallery of Sleep is a masterpiece of an album. I stumbled across in last year and it's been on my favourites list since. Trading Shadows is something else, as is Leviathan!
Nice, Aric Improta is the man!
Aquilis Priester. I'll keep doing this ^^ Aric is one hell of a creative drummer, following him for years now.
his Attention Deficit Drumming videos are insane too! a lot of random stuff he is creating and working on. really inspiring and really really good in my opinion! :)
I have to say one of the best things about this channel is hearing bands I don't know who are fucking wild. haha
I was just about to type "Buddy Rich used to do stuff like the stick on Stick stuff outside of the hi-hat..." Then you said it! 🤣
My friend I know that is difficult to you to be able to make all the videos and watch all the drummers but mike portnoy does deserve a video for all his history on dream theater and even sons of Apollo or liquid tension experiment . Cheers dude and keep the good work
I saw him perform with Night Verses a month ago and was lucky to meet up with him (again). Such a great spirit, such a humble guy. I've known him from both Night Verses and Fever333, and he''s currently workin on a tattoo design for my girl (based on the trippy drum heads) :) Just an awesome, awesome drummer (and band).
Probably top 10 modern drummer right now. fuck name another that tops him.
I love this series. It's like with every new video, he hones in closer and closer tip his preferred styles of metal music. The whole series started with something like "I hate this stuff, but I respect the talent," and has evolved into "FUCK YEAH BEAT THE SHIT OUTTA THAT CHINA!" and things of the like
I never would have noticed him looking at the next notes he was playing. Very cool observations.
He draws those drum heads himself. Widely talented dude.
There's a decent live video of danny carey playing pneuma which vic firth uploaded a couple of days ago
Yeah what was that? 😂 Aric Improta is no fn joke 🔥🔥🔥
That was pretty dope, but still patiently awaiting some Sebatien Lanser ;)
Wow this guy is fucking nuts! Inspiring and nuts!
All of Night Verses kicks ass. All of it. From The Gallery of Sleep is one of the best instrumental rock/metal albums of all time.
Aric is such a good drummer. I love seeing reaction to drummers that have top notch writing abilities. The blast beat drummers are cool but these drummers are way cooler.
Love that star trek poster
I have his drum heads... they are Remo emperor clears and the art design is in between the layers of the heads. Didn’t you know he has the China in quarantine!?
Enjoyed your review. Did you ever do a review of the drum solo by Aric Improta? Keep up the great work with the videos.
This band, Night Verses, is awesome!
His 40 minute long drum solo is insane I recommend watching it
Neat little fact for ya, Aric actually does all of the art for his drum heads.
YEEEEEEEEEEEES YOU DID IIIIIIIIT!!! PRAISE THE LORD
Damn that drummer is sick
