Drawabox 250 Box Challenge: Uncomfortable Critiques my Homework!

All my Drawabox content is cut from my video streams on twitch ( / scyllastew )
After months of work, pen reviews, interruptions and tears, I've finally finished the box challenge! Now for my critique with Uncomfortable, the creator of Drawabox. He talks about common issues students have along with some insight into the purpose of the box challenge.
We also briefly discuss the Drawabox pen and my favorite of the nearly 20 I tested during this challenge.
If you've finished off the whole lesson's homework, following through this video and comparing the comments to your own work should help you spot issues you may want to work on in the future.

This video is very interesting and helpful. It contains a lot of practical, constructive and clear suggestions on how to proceed, to what to pay attention and what to avoid. Compared with some other drawbox videolessons there is no rush here, no speed up recordings, there is no just philosophical deviations. It's just calm and quiet conversation about multiple concrete ways and methods to make a progress and to get better in this challenging task of drawing a box. And that was exactly what was badly needed Thank you for that video.

what he doesn't say enough is that you will do those errors. you know they are, you think about it while drawing and you still will do them. I was like: pfff who do he think we are!! and then... mistakes upon mistakes...

Does doing them wrong means we gotta redo them. Cause for me I didn’t converge all my lines but rather some but in a certain direction. Like that of one or two point perspective but not three and I’m realizing that now after re-reading the lesson for the 250 box challenge but I’ve only have 60 more boxes left to draw and correct my mistake. Is this going to be an issue?

I got a question i know you may not remember but how did you deal with the unseen parts of the boxes lines AKA the lines you had to make to draw through since they move around do to the Necker illusion? I have been trying to learn to draw for the past 2 years and to this day the Necker issue has been my biggest foe my "Dragon to slay" it's so hard to draw boxes namly drawing through them when the back and front switch every 1 or 2 seconds.

Provide an image to your problem. Draw A Box probably didn't cover it in his curriculum. My current guess on your problem is you are drawing too close to the center point which is the point where the horizon line and the vertical line intersect. If you are drawing in one point then you are drawing very close to your vanishing point.

He talks a lot about the "Y" lines but I see no love for "Z" and "O". The way I see it: *Y* = 3-point perspective, *Z* = 2-point pp, *O* which is more like *ㅁ* is for 1-point pp.
