DoorDash HIDING TIPS & FINAL PAYOUT!!!!! NEW PAY MODEL 2019
DoorDash is up to their old tricks, in hiding the total tip, and final payout amount on the incoming offer. This is something they used to do for years, but recently changed under the New DoorDash Pay Model. They ended up with A LOT of low paying offers, that Dashers were not willing to accept, so I was afraid they were going to revert back to their old ways. I even warned you all of this, in a recent video when these changes were made, and gave advice on proactive note taking to have good information when this did happen. This is ONLY in some markets, but that doesn't mean it isn't coming to a market near you soon!! It's better to be prepared, so you can make the necessary adjustments, IF and when that time comes. Use your DoorDash widget to check the bill total, and customer notes for more information, to determine whether it's worth accepting or not. I share tips and tricks in this video, on how to properly cherry pick DoorDash offers, with or without a DoorDash Widget. As Independent Contractors, in the Gig Economy we have to work smarter, and make good business decisions. Don't let these changes slow you down, catch all the latest tips to stay ahead of the curve!!!

I'm a new dasher. I took almost any delivery in the beginning but I've become more selective. I'm running my car out, paying for gas and repairs and maintenance. So I stopped taking lowball offers. If people want this service it gonna cost them or they can go get it themselves is the alternative. Great video.
They took away the ability to see if it's a apartment complex or not they take out the apartment number from the address. "Transparency" my @$$ lol
DD has no intergrity plain and simple. They should no longer be your primer app. When people show you who they are believe them then they dont haveto keep showing you.
I’m not sure if it’s in all regions but in mine they are giving me 20 seconds to accept an order. Hardly enough time to pull over it figure out if I want to accept or decline. 🙃
I just figured out why the pay decreased so much here in Bellevue area.DD changed the tip model from 10%-20-30%-other .....to 3-4-5$-other.zso of course that the customer who has a 150$ order is going to tip 5 or 6$ and we get screwed like always.Fuck DD.they simply don't care about us.
Informative video.. I wish people tipped that great around here.. I am shocked if there’s an order over $50.. DD seems to screw our base pay when the customer tips. The promos seem to make up for what customer doesn’t tip too so you’re essentially making the same as it was before the promo pay.
They just had a huge controversy over non transparency. I can’t believe they’re doing this now. DD is dumb.
Thanks Coach for the update. I always look forward to your inspirational messages.
Now they don't show the subtotal on the widget any more in my market
Keep the great videos coming Jake, Many low ball offer here in Montana
I have never seen a payout more than the guaranteed paid.
The new pay model was great in my area for just a couple weeks...now it's back to a lot of smaller bs offers
35 seconds is NOT enough time to accept a call
Why is your complete so much different than your offer?
Thank you for the insight and update! 💜
Any advice on taking the time to evaluate the possibility of tip outcomes when they lower the time to accept or decline to 30 seconds? A ton of dashers I've talked to online are also having that major reduction in time to decide so we can't spend too much time looking up details and figuring out the math.
The high offers definitely disappeared in my area. Back down to the $6-$8 range each one.
You know what? If just ONE new company would dive into this cesspool of crooks and pay their employees fairly and squarely PLUS provide commercial insurance to truly COVER their drivers, they would blow the rest of these crooks right out of the sky!!!!
Thanks for your advice Jake! This is my third week doing doordash and your tips have help increase profits a TON!
I go by distance for me. I like getting orders that pay $1.50 to $2.00 a mile especially with these Cali gas prices. $10.47 for a 7 mile dash I do all day. An order for $14.26 looks great right ? but if it's a 14.2 miles away then really its not
