Dognapped : James Jackson, Jennifer McBride, Et al
Season 17 : BREAKING NEWS!
Episode 07 : James Kaclson, Jennifer McBride, Et al.
In 2021, Lady Gaga's beloved pet dogs were kidnapped off the street and her dogwalker was shot. Everybody assumed that it was an attempt to ransom the dogs for a big payday, but the truth was actually worse.

Right?! I mean I love my sweet corgi, Louis, but no matter how much training we do he always panics in any “aggressor/attack” scenarios we’ve tried together with the trainer. (Just trying to get him to hide and then bark repeatedly for help, type-scenarios.) Hearing the outstanding actions Miss Asia took during such a stressful crime is beyond impressive in my eyes after my own personal experience with my dog’s training!! What a wonderful pup!! She deserves all the treats and praise for her astute and compassionate behavior!!

I live in L.A., stealing dogs, French bulldogs off the street is not uncommon. The suspects are all the same.
Man the camera footage of the struggle was so haunting, Ryan was terrified. Yet all he could think about was saving *his* frenchies and he managed to fight off two robbers refusing to give in till he literally received a life-threatening injury. Ryan truly is the hero we need, but don’t deserve.

Poor Ryan, what an awful trauma, I sincerely hope that he's able to recover and heal, he seems a really decent human being. Thanks for covering this Jiles
I worked at Movie Madness, internationally renowned film museum and rare cult video store in Portland, OR, when a tweaker fresh out of prison pried open a showcase, stole John Wayne and William Holden's film prop rifles, stuffed them down his pants, rode off, used them to hold up a Plaid Pantry a few blocks away, then send someone to return them for a large reward after "finding them" in mint condition in a park after one year of being " outside". The owner of the video store told this person to " f*ck themselves", took his guns back, and they are back in the case. This story reminds me of that. Great episode. Thanks again!

I've been to Europe a few times. I had a conversation with a wonderful, intelligent Greek lady, and we were discussing lawsuits. She told me that the USA is a joke to Europeans because the courts allow us to file charges on stupid things. I agree with her. This is why we have a wait so long for important cases because we spend time and money on lawsuits like this.
@mommy2libras
22 күн бұрын
No, it isn't. Civil Court and criminal court are completely separate and one doesn't affect the other. Someone suing over something seemingly small or stupid has no impact on murder trials or any other criminal proceedings. Most criminal cases take so long because gathering all available evidence is extremely important- you never know what details might convince a jury or which evidence may prove the case exactly. Gathering background info, physical and circumstantial evidence, running necessary tests, etc takes time because, as I'm sure you're aware, you can't just do things instantly. Also, here in the US, we have a little thing called "due process" and if you're ever involved in criminal proceedings, you'll thank your stars that it exists.
@thisisMONSTERS
22 күн бұрын
@mommy2libras You are correct, but I would add to that that defense lawyers generally do anything they can to delay a trial. It’s a common tactic because it makes witnesses less reliable. Otherwise no, a frivolous civil lawsuit doesn’t affect a criminal trial. Thanks for watching!
Yay! Excellent timing!

Jiles I believe the system also plays a role in this as well. We don’t actually rehabilitate criminals. We send them to jail to network with other prisoners and they come out worse off then before Education is expensive. It’s sad
@goblin-night
22 күн бұрын
What kind of "rehabilitation education" are you saying would lead to less criminals reoffending than jail? The progressive political narratives surrounding criminality are so detached from reality that they are pretty much just "play pretend because it would be so nice if it was true". I dont think incarceration should have the responsibility of rehabilitation on it. I think rehabilitation should be something offered on release, along with mental health services and slow re-integration back into society with supports. The desire for rehabilitation is intrinsically driven and counter intuitive to a prison setting.

When I was growing up my best friend had a Great Dane named Chancellor, who was a MP(military police) dog trained with hand signals. Her brother got him from someone when he was in the Natl Guard. You could point at someone and say "watch him" and Chancellor would go stand in front of the person and if you moved a inch he would begin growling and barking. To end that command you would say "make friends" and he would lick your hand and you were free to go. He was one of the most impressive/ intelligent dogs I've ever met. I actually think ALL dogs should have obedience training, and more, if they are really smart

'Is working for a living really that bad?' For many, yes. With what greedy Corp pay and the 'benefits', yes. It is bad. Income inequality is real. Not excusing the crime, but why do you think we have poverty? Simply because people don't want to work? There are more reasons for crime besides 'not wanting to work'. That reasoning is outdated and completely unaware.
Good one ❤
You are a wonderful story teller! I wish i could do this lol
Hey Monsters 👋
I fucking love lady gaga
This is one of the most vile, despicable stories I have heard. Unfortunately, this horror is not limited to this specific breed or to stars. Here in Houston, there was a crime ring that hit our neighborhood -- mind you, our area is certainly not exclusive or "wealthy" or star-studded in any way. As if that makes a diff. Anyway. The crime ring would case subdivisions and tag houses where dogs were believed to be residing. The infamous "windowless white vans" would then later stalk the alleyways and steal dogs directly out of their yards or ambush walkers and steal them that way. The gangs would wait until desperate and traumatized residents posted "have you seen me" rewards. Then they wld call in response, claiming to have "found" the 'napped pups. In many cases they would allegedly pressure owners for higher payouts. These effers made a boatload and not all were caught!! How much would YOU pay for a loving and cherished member of your fam to be returned to you? It was terrible. Thank you Big J for the coverage. I want the 25-life sentebces for these heinous, terrible crimes because in my mind, there is no more terrible crime than to corrupt innocence through violence and coercion for dollars OR twisted psycho reasons; these people are the very worst of humanity.
You can mess with me, but don't even try it with fur babies. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.
