My problem with the dating scene is that SO MUCH ADVICE IS GIVEN TO WOMEN, women come in being perfect and men aren’t adviced & don’t even have to lift their toes. Love how Brendan advices men as well.

The money, the cars, all the material things without love, values and knowing who you are are meaningless. Pity some men think they are 'IT' with these things. What a shallow life to think you are worthy because of material possessions.

@@ThokoTwala Also some men are content with bringing bare minimum in the relationship. I pray for a day when women would not settle for less in a relationship, love is about reciprocity, it can't be one-sided. Mrs & Mr. Ledwaba is sufficient proof that reciprocal love and relationship do exist it just takes effort, self-awareness, and intention from both partners.

This was great! However, I think it’s interesting how we set such low standards for men. I don’t think that we should give men points for living like a responsible adult e.g. the point Mpoomy made about being impressed about Brenden having curtains and not a sheet in his apartment. I completely relate to that way of thinking but we need to normalize expecting men to be responsible adults who can take care of themselves and not give them points for it. And in terms of potential, I like what Steve Furtick says: date someone for their patterns and not their potential.

The part about potential👏 Someone could have potential but have no interest in pursuing and working on that potential. And you end up hanging on that hope that they will reach that potential that you see in them, then it never happens because they are not interested. You end up becoming miserable and it seems like you are forcing someone to be who they are not.

I was in toxic relationship for the longest time ,I can boldly say my judgement was clouded by that spiritual tie that I had with that guy. Luckily I've learned so much about myself during that process/relationship and even more after things FINALLY ended for good. Mpoomy you are right, the day you realise that you know what, I'm good even if I'm alone I will not lower my standards because I know who I am and what I need and want from a from man. My God! I wish these lessons would have come way earlier in my life. I've had to learn the hard way. But nevertheless all that has been said is so true. Self worth is so important and its evident in the things we allow to continue to manifest in our lives. Ladies and gents if you find yourself in a place where you compromising your core values, tolerating or giving people the benefit of the doubt based of the vail perceived as love than you've done an great injustice to self. Most times we know what's best for ourselves and often times we decide to live not in the constant consciousness of that or rather let me say, choose not to be intentional in how we recieve and give off ourself, which leads to our own injustice. I really love the part where our brother speaks about facing our demons. And alot us comprise what is true and pure because it's a difficult exercise to do especially with someone else. May these chats continue to take place. I love and respect you both and truly God is doing a great work in you. Thank you

Always listen to your instincts, very important.I was married for 11 years and when he changed and broke his promises, I ran and never looked back. I have been single/divorced for 3 years and I will never settle for anything less than my worth. If it means dying alone, I am fine with it. It is very crucial to go into a relationship with expectation because you cant just be in a relationship or marriage and embrace walking in the darkness. You cannot just go with the flow, Thanks guys! Love you!

Thank you so much to the Praise's you have helped me so much with a challenge I have had for about 2 years where I didn't know my worth and let my feelings for that individual get the better of me. Had the same situation as Mpoomys experience where I had the guy only call me in the weekends and only in the a.m. and honestly felt like that was love and everytime I sat alone it would really hurt just thinking about the situation. After watching this video it helped me in realizing my worth and letting go.

I felt this message. I was once in this situation twice &was so vulnerable that I allowed guys to walk all over me but after realizing that i have been used& broken, i started looking for change& peace now i own my life. I know my worth &m so excited of being single because I don't feel any pressure from anybody. Looking forward to more enlightement.

This is way better then television unscripted and very authentic. Thank you guys for sharing. This conversation was just a confirmation for me because I recently broke up with the person that I was with it was difficult to do but I had to do it because if I hadn't I would have subjected myself to receiving what's left of his time which amounted to very little. I am worth spending QUALITY time with.

Absolutely loved this video. Thank you for opening up the space to have such conversations and sharing what you’ve learned. I can definitely attest to the shift I’ve seen in myself over the passed year and more especially after my 24th birthday. I know my worth now. More especially because of who God says I am. My boundaries are set. I couldn’t settle even if I wanted to at this point. The more I grow in defining what I like, the more I realize things I absolutely refuse to tolerate or accept. When you love and respect yourself completely you begin to attract and recognize healthy love as well; that’s when it becomes easy to be alone if you’re not receiving what you know you deserve.

Thank you for this video! 💃A goldmine 🤞I had never heard of men finding their value in women before this video...I have heard more about woman finding their worth, security and value in men. It is clearer for me to see the latter, over the former. A video going deeper into how Men find their value in women would be great!!! And super appreciated. It's just I always thought men find their worth in the accumulation of things, find their worth in comparison with other men, in hard working they are, in their success and recognition things like that. Not so much from women.

I loved this video, thank you so much. I am in my 30s now, been single and grateful for my old soul. I really had to learn to love myself, value myself, put in all the work and realised that there is no need to get involved with someone just for the sake. Great insight and love you guys so much xxxxxxx I totally agree with the materialstic stance because this generation values the most unrealistic things and if you are an old soul, you will definetly get dribbled a lot. Trust in who you are, love yourself and do not settle for anything!

Very informative ,thank you much for starting the conversation.A lot of people settle for scraps indeed and do not know their value especially us women but it is never too late to do introspection and revaluation of oneself and set new rules and boundaries for what it is that you want or can allow. In all honesty it's really simple,if he's not stepping up then he's gotta go! And by step up not one random change today and that's its it should be consistent from both sides. Sex really does make things blurry indeed .I've learnt CELIBACY is key when getting into a relationship ,so that it can be based on the right fundamentals.
