Hey Fam Bam, Thanks for the check-in/ update/advice, etc...😅 Its clearly evident that more effort and “intentional loving” is required in each progressing phase of the relationship, in order to sustain the joy of having each other as best friends before being a married couple or parents.😊 That was very informative. Honestly! Im still single. But im so intentional about the things I want in a relationship which means that I can wait as long as I can to meet a person who won't think my expectations are too high when I want him to take me seriously as a woman. But I am happy for this video, it is so important. I also learned alot about different stages. Thank you.

That broke phase after marriage, yoh guys not easy! 1st year def not easy, it took a lot of pruning and sacrifice. I celebrated my 1st anniversary on Sunday and thankful that God got us through and sustained us. I am also about to become a mum in 2months, so excited

I'm happily in the single stage🤗 waiting on the Lord to transition me through all the other stages

Every stage requires a different version of yourself and that's how we evolve. You can never be the same person as you were when you were dating, you guys are now parents so there's a shift from being Mpumi or just Brenden. You are now Nuri's parents. As for myself I'm married and I'm a mother.

Brenden, thanks you reminded me of this scripture: Luke 12:48 From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

We are in the dating stage; it's only been 6 months so far and it is wonderful. We are already in parenthood🙈🙈 He and I each have daughters, so we slowly learning each others parenting skills, but he's an exceptional dad. We have been speaking of transitioning to marriage but finances dont allow as yet; but also it may be a bit too early... We are just hoping and praying for the best in our relationship. This was absolutely beautiful. I am single, happily so. I started this year on a rocky phase but then I journaled down everything I want to see this year. I eventually dedicated this year to me and calling it me-year. This means that everything I do I ask myself if it is beneficial for me and how so. I must admit it's not easy but it keeps me aware of everything happening and I've found it even helped in my relationship with friends and family. The only way I believe I've even been able to do everything is only because God is God. Love you guys

Being *comfortable* in a marriage is common and it takes over without knowing. It's important to always acknowledge your partner, keep things fresh by always being intentional by going back to the basic- whatever it was that made you both happy, and to also remember to show affection nd attention to the other person's love language.
