If there's something that I love about your channel is that you can never watch a video and still be the same...you always learn something and you grow. This is absolutely true. These pointers make a huge difference and make communication even more effective: 1. Listen to understand not to respond 2. Mind your tone 3. Be quick to forgive 4. Never bring up past wrongs/ transgressions 5. Don't shout/yell but speak calmly and with kindness. Be mindful of this and deliberate in doing so! Thank you so much.

Brenden the verse is James 1:19 Don't sweat it you got it right. It says let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.

I’ve literally been so bad at all these points for the past year and 3 months with my partner , and it’s caused major issues. One of the worst things I think is the attacking the other person when they’ve dissapointed/hurt you. Instead of getting vulnerable about how something has made you feel, we go into defense mode and attack the other. Awesome video, awesome content !

Loved this episode, it came at the right time been going through something where I feel like am always right and when there is an argument or disagreement I take it to heart and just dwell on it like am waiting for my apology and I deserve that apology. I’ve realized that I’ve been a hypocrite because am always on this tip that love is about sacrifice but I have not been sacrificing myself to forgive even if I don’t feel am at fault. I have been doing self introspection few days ago and I have been praying that God helps me to overcome short tamper.
