Ingredients:
85 g rolled oats(~1 cup)
fry for few minutes at medium heat
60 g walnuts(2.11 oz)
roast walnuts for few minutes at medium heat
80 g pitted dates(2.82 oz)
75 g dark chocolate(2.65 oz)
refrigerate for 15 minutes

Just made this. However I substituted the walnuts for various raw tree nuts, including walnuts. Pecans, hazel, almonds and Brazil. Also rolled in toasted sesame seeds instead of the chocolate coating, because I wanted a super heart healthy snack that I can eat any time. It worked, and is utterly delicious. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, I LOVE this recipe, and I shall make it! I have a sweet tooth, and I am trying to lose weight at the same time, so I'm always on the lookout for healthy desserts. One question - can I substitute almonds for walnuts? I am allergic to walnuts. Maybe I could lightly roast the almond before grinding? Do let me know your thoughts.
