5 Stretches You Should Do Every Day! We all sit too much and don't move enough. The Result? Pain and stiffness. In this video, Dr. Jon Saunders, Newmarket Chiropractor (and Kinesiologist) will show you his best stretches to do everyday to make you feel better, give you more flexibility and increase your overall mobility!
This is a great daily stretching routine if you sit a lot or don't move as much as you'd like. Don't do this immediately upon rising. This should be done at the end of your daily morning routine (shower, coffee, tea, dressed, etc...). It is a short, safe daily stretching routine that will make a difference in your life.

    Do you have any stretches for women having severe pain caused by endometriosis (I mean what to do when pain attacks and spreads in the low back area and leaks along the spine)? greetings from Poland (I watch your channel and learn a lot, thank you, dziękuję)

    I have a collapsed thoracic spine from being on high doses of Prednisone. I have lost many inches in height but do not have Osteoporosis, gratefully. Is there any hope for me as I been in many PT programs but never achieve relief for aching and posture improvement ? Am I expecting too much? Thank you Dr. John. Linda

    I have no idea why your channel hasn't gone viral--so effective! Is there any difference between doing 3 sets in a row vs. setting it up as a circuit? I just downloaded an interval timer and trying to figure this out. I wish I was one of your patients!

    I'm here after finding your channel as i have a trapped nerve and your exercises really help! Looking at these stretches I'll definitely incorporate the first four in my daily routine. As for the fifth, well i already do a variation of this and it really helps my piriformis problem. A great video.

    Hey Dr. Jon, thanks for another great video. Always well done ! Quick question re: stretch # 5. . . I often do that same stretch while standing on one leg after running. It forces me to focus on balance as well as the obvious hip stretch. And yes I keep my spine curved/shoulders back while doing it. Anything wrong with doing it my way rather than sitting ?

    I just started watching your channel and it's very helpful. (Already shared a few times.) I am committed to following some exercises and stretches for specific areas daily, but l have to watch through the detailed instructions each time and stop and go so l can do the reps. Is there any way to have your demonstrations in a real time format? Then l can follow with the stretches for the 15-30 seconds rest and repeat etc. without having to stop and pause or fast forward or rewind? I have already felt good results in my posture and stiffness, so l will continue, but l thought l would ask.

    Doc I’ve heard that the cobra stretch position isn’t good for those with low back pain, herniated disc and disc bulge. Pls enlighten me

    Cobra can be good for disc bulges, child's pose can be bad for disc bulges, but either could be OK for back pain, depending on individual cases. All the best.

    @@drjonsaundersI guess I may have asked the wrong question but I heard that if you were diagnosed spondylolesthesis, then cobra stretches are not good for the back . Would u speak into that doc ?
