That's the state of the world we live in. A non believer of Christ sees a Nativity scene on their neighbors front yard, they feel offended or even threatened at the idea that they're going to hell. Unfortunately, they fail to see the bigger picture.

If God exists and is all powerfull, he sends people to hell through inaction. He could instantly and easily stop hell from existing. He also sets the rules, those who are not convinced by the docturine of christianity, all hindus, muslims, agnostics, buddhists etc., are deemed to be deserving of eternal torture. Imagine a state that ordered any amount of torture as a punishment for thought crime. "The state doesn't send you to the Goulag. You send yourself there for your lack of belief in the all powerful state."

I actually watched this video before I got saved (I always said that I was Christian but I was still living in sin) and at first, I thought that the woman in yellow was being judgemental because I had the "you can be anything you want to be. God doesn't care" mentality but now that I got saved......I realize how wrong I was.😓 I agree with you. A lot has changed since I got saved (starting with how I view things) Its like I'm a whole new person😅 and it all started with the renewal of the mind (Romans 12:2)

12:16 “When you look at someone and you feel like they’re attractive and you have to disagree with that part of yourself every second of the day and you have to tell yourself ‘that’s freaking wrong’” Without going into unnecessary details, I struggled with lust for a long time and her statement there reminded me of how I felt when I was working to overcome those urges. The conclusion I came to(and I think this is likely applicable to her too) is that I was taking the wrong approach by telling myself “that’s freaking wrong”. It turns out that I didn’t need to tell myself anything because I wasn’t the one who had the power to overcome that temptation. Instead of telling myself that it’s wrong, I had to go to God and ask him to help me. Eventually, God removed that sin from my life and it was because I told Him what was wrong instead of telling myself what was wrong.

Amen. And heterosexuals go through the same thing every day as well, it’s really not dependent on who the person is attracted to. Acting on the temptation outside of marriage is a sin either way. Which is why I don’t see the problem that more progressive Christians put forth when arguing that they shouldn’t have to deny their sexuality. Because as Jesus said, we all should.

Hallelujah! I have had the same issue with pornography. I battled it myself and hated myself everytime i fell until i gave it all to God(he told me to tell my mom, which was extremely scary but i did it because i trust in God) and my lust issues basically disappeared after that day. Yes i do sometimes feel lust but it's so much easier to overcome when you're not angry at yourself for even feeling it. I think it's also super important to understand that God knows these feelings and He is not angry at you for feeling them. He just wants to set you free from the bonds that sin holds on you and the only way that He can do that is if you stop fighting it yourself and just give it to Him.

For the woman who said "i still felt that god loved me" yes he loves you, he loves everyone. He just doesn't love what you do. Just because he still loves you doesn't mean he loves what you've been doing. It also doesn't justify what you do because that could be seen as taking advantage of the fact that he'll always love you.

12:10 Giiiiiirl, sweetheart....🤦‍♀️ Jesus NEVER said that being a Christian was gonna be easy. That's why He said to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Him, and yes, that's a choice! You dont have to do it. You dont have to choose to be with God and accept Him. But yet people get upset when we mention hell. If you dont want to listen and obey love, true love and be with God and be willing and want to take down your own opinions and pride and change, I mean you if you choose that you don't want to be with God, you think God is gonna force you to be with Him for eternity??? But going back to her saying how hard it is to continually keep away from that sin every moment of the day. That's what we all do! You ain't alone in your own little struggle boat. Its a battle everyday with temptation and sin. But at the end of the day, it's a choice, and from what she is saying, she is choosing to live in that sin and accept it and even say she identifies with it rather than fighting it with Jesus, cause she was never made to fight on her own, we all aren't. And I ain't saying am not guilty of making wrong choices. We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Of His pure goodness.

It was so eye opening as far as hearing it from her rather than from Christians who assume sometimes. It's because noone is forcing anyone to be accepting and supportive of infidelity, pornography etc. Everyone for the most part acknowledges and accepts that they're wrong. But in the case of homosexually people are constantly forcing people to confirm to that mind set even forcing themselves into the churches and demanding that they church supports it. And if you refuse you get cyber bullied, fired, lose business deals, sued, persecuted etc. It hinders religious freedom and that's why the conversation is important to have especially as Christians.

With all due respect, I think you should watch some videos about religious trauma in the church. You can start with “I thought Gay celibacy was my only option in the church” on Medium. When you are a teenager, everyone expects you to fall in love, asks you about it, supports you in it and condones it… But if you can’t fall in love or fall for the wrong person you feel like there’s something wrong with you, like you’re an alien or something. And that’s best case scenario. You can easily be disowned or abused as well, by Christians! Actually I am a straight, Bible believing Christian, but you do understand that Christianity also spread in Ancient Rome because people felt so sorry for us?

I was asked by a friend who was not a believer, if he comes to God will God change him, and I said yes. He asked again why will God change me, and my response was because it is the reason you have come to God. And he said that is so true. People who are looking for change in their life will never seeing that God is a God change us a make us new creatures in Christ Jesus. My nature of sin overwhelmed me, and I called on to God to save me, and He did, and gave a new nature which is of Holiness and Righteousness. Thank you Jesus Christ!

    1. Absolutely agree. I still listen to secular music now and then, but I have seen the effects music has had on my psyche that I generally only listen to Christian music. Then again, I only was introduced to it when I was 16 and I started with artists like Skillet, Red, etc. I have found such enjoyable music that I don’t really feel like I’m missing out on anything anymore. There is definitely lame Christian music, but there is also some really awesome music, too. 2. Have I doubted? Not really. My faith has definitely been tested, but I’ve never seriously doubted. 3. Yep pretty much what she said though I have fluctuated over the years. That is where I currently stand. Also, amen to all you said, too. Identity wrapped too much in the flesh. Not so much the latter. Q3:Strongly disagree. I know a whole group doesn't necessarily speak for one person, but with with what the LGBTQ has been pushing nowadays, it's hard to not look at someone who Identifies as LGBTQ and not wonder if they're just as radical as the ones on social media. Here’s what I posted one the actual video. I was upset with how people are trying to belittle the Way. Question 1: Christian music isn’t that good because it is trying hard to catch the listener attention (as in saying what is wanting to be heard instead of needed) and not their attention ( as in the main thing). Christianity is not a club or fashion, it a LIFE STYLE. Q2-3: You can not practice homosexuality or anything that is not of God and be Christian. Not because I say or said you can’t, but because it is impossible. A Christian is one who wants to be with God, and to be, you have to follow! What I mean be this is, you can’t be In Sin or gay and be with God. Here’s proof- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Side note: guy who identifies as gay said that the guy in orange was leaving out stuff in the Bible (which he didn’t by the way) when he himself did the same. Acts 10:9-16. Q4: No, God does not love everyone equally. What about Jacob and Esau? Malachi 1:1-3 The Kingdom of God isn’t Mr. Rogers neighborhood. We can’t interchange Mercy with love. Psalm 25:8-10. However, God doesn’t play favorites either. Deuteronomy 10:17. If you get confused in all this, just know that God is God. Meaning he can do what he wants. Who are we to say otherwise? Q5: No! You can not date (assuming that’s leading to marriage)or marry anyone who is not a Christian. Why? Read it for yourself and understand well. Malachi 2:10-11 in response to what the guy in orange said, it is not beneficial to have a relationship/ hang around those who aren’t Christian. Why? Because it is easier to pull someone down than up just like basic physics. A friend is like a brother that isn’t blood related. Q6: Sex outside of marriage is wrong. Why? Because 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 Q7: Short answer- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10…. Also Matthew 7:21-23. All of the right answers and responses can be found in the Bible, the very word of God. The same word the died, the same word that was,the same word that is and the one that always will be.

I'm glad there's a video about this and that you talk about how we all sin - that we're all fallen and dead apart from Christ no matter what we identify as or see ourselves as. We are all sinners until Christ, in His mercy, comes to us and saves us by His blood and we all are called to change and can only change by His Spirit.

I watch a lot of Jubilee middle ground videos, but I didn’t even bother watching these ones when they came out, because my first thought was “of course all Christians don’t think the same, that’s such a stupid premise 😂” But the Christian music one is one of the most interesting “semi hot button“ issues in the Christian community. My perspective is that I don’t listen to any music I wouldn’t sing along to, because I won’t say or sing anything I don’t believe to be true. That cuts out a lot of secular music-but not all of it-AND more Christian music than you’d think! I’d also like to point out that if you really put in an *effort to LOOK,* you can find Christian music in literally any genre you like. I love rock ‘n’ roll and alternative, so I went searching for Christian music like that, and I’ve discovered so many incredible but small and little-known artists and bands!

I think what may also affect the opinions on Christian music is that some artists seem to restrict their musical creativity and subject matter. I also think that there are simply fewer Christian musical artists than in many popular genres of music like pop and rock (though yes, there are Christian versions of these). A few of the topics/questions are really not about doubting 'your' beliefs but whether or not the Bible lines up with what 'you' believe. This applies for both sides of the argument. We first have to know that what we believe lines up with what the Bible actually teaches, then we have to have a heart that wants Jesus to get all the glory in whatever we do. So our goal is not confrontation, per se, but reconciliation with and surrender to Jesus will in the same way He surrendered to the Father's will in the Garden of Gethsemane, "not my will but yours be done." Pride is a great hinderance to this end.

I am 32 years old and have been Christian since I was a child and I grew up in a Christian family, and they teach me to respect and to not judge others, I have atheist friends as well and muslims and jewish friends, all of my friends are kind people. One of my brothers was for a short while a non-christian, but my parents still respected him, and they was not embarest of him, and keep contact with him when he was a non-christian, and he was still a good person. God created us with a free choise, its against christianity to force people to become christians, and its illegal in christianity to prejudge others We should all be humble and we should not feel worse or better than others. Christians are not a homogenous group of people, we are as different as people who are not Christians, we are individual people. Unfortunately, some Christians judge others, but at least as many non-Christians judge others, many Christians are also met with prejudice by non-Christians to the same extent than the opposite, simply saying that "Christians feel better than others" is generalizing and say and prejudiced in itself, I just wanted to explane how different us humans are. Purely hypothetically, I might as well resemble an atheist as much as another Christian, it depends from person to person. The person I am most similar to is the person I have most in common with in areas other than religion, I am most similar to a person who has the same interests and hobbies and the same way of being, it could be another Christian person, but it could just as easily be a atheist or a Muslim. I am outgoing, like swimming, handball, field hockey, like to go for walks in nature, open to and talk about feelings with people I know, a little bromance personality, people who have the same personality and the same interests are the ones I most resemble, what we believe in the spiritual says little or nothing about personality Christians and Muslims and Jews and all other religious people and atheists are just as different and individual as everyone else, we are not a "separate race, where everyone thinks alike or have the same personality», it does NOT EXIST a stereotype or typical christian, we’r all different people

No, no you are not, @Kristoffer Larsen , I agree. A bit late, maybe, as schisms, infighting, bifurcation and sliding doctrine, has already occurred, in the last few hundred years, though? To some fairly messy results, too. And DO we all have free choice - given Romans 8:30, Romans 9:12, Matthew 7:13, and Revelations 13:8? Honestly, I cannot tell. Less maybe than many angels had when they spontaneously chose to rebel, in a realm with no flaws, or a Fall, or 'glass darkly', and were not 'natural men' at time, either? Sorry, that's from 1 Corinthians 2:14 - another verse relevant to free will concerns. I hope I did not confuse you? I guess John 14:13, fulfilled, might make of this less confusing, but as said, Christians do vary a lot, historically. And sometimes accuse whole sects of not truly being ones, or feel they had to settle disagreements, in conflict? But yes, I do agree with you, in every other respect, generally - so thanks. Although things were kind of forceful, all the same, a few hundred years ago. And I don't think quite all of the old law got done away with, immediately, either.

@@chrissonofpear1384 I'm Norwegian, so it happens that I use some words a little incorrectly, since English is not my native language, I rarely use Google Translate, but occasionally to correct and to get the right words, and I see that I should be better at this comment field and I should have been more clever to use Google in that spesific comment. "Free choice" can mean the same in Norwegian as "free will". I mean people have a free will, God doesn't force anyone to be a Christian, because God is no dictator, if you don't want to be a Christian and don't want to have anything to do with God, then we have a free will (I say free choice in Norway). 1)Free will = Fri vilje 2)Free choice = Fritt valg / valgfritt And «fritt valg» (free choice) can be used in the same way as «fri vilje» (free will) A lot of things we do in life is regardless of religion, like I like to make food and swim and I like to be honest and open when I speak with good friends about things that is difficult in life, many straight men have a personality where they don’t like to talk about emotions things with their male friends (regardless of religion or secularism) so this is why I don’t relate religion to personality, personality is in our mind not in our religion

@@chrissonofpear1384 I also think that prejudice is about personality, not about religion. I think there can be many factors as to why some people are prejudiced. It's about personality, some are just like that without a logical explanation, some are like that based on bad experiences, or on how you've been taught to think, all regardless of religion or non-religiousness. Christians sometimes prejudice non-christians, and atheists sometimes prejudice Christians, it can go both ways, but its not Christianity or ateism that makes us behave this way, its the way one choose to treat others in life, its about that some people in the world don’t respect people that believe in something else than they do, and that is about having a personality that don’t respect that other believe differently than themself about religion or non-religiousness

@@kk440635NORWAY That's fair enough. But me, Judao-Christian religion, and free will, as a definition, have never fully seen eye to eye together, I'm afraid. St Paul also, looked pretty prejudiced, to me. Heh-ho, though. He might not have grasped that others do not see Romans 1:18 the same way, for one. Never mind.

@@chrissonofpear1384 What I also would like to say, even what I am gonna say is completely off topic. Its about alcohol. I am a Christian, and I don’t drink, but the reason I don’t drink have nothing to do with my faith, I would’nt drink if I was an atheist either, and even if some people don’t drink and they base it on their faith, its up to them, its their choise, its nothing wrong with that either. I have never met a person in my life that are a teetotaller (a person that never drink) that judge a person that drink, regardless of faith. But I have met alot of people that drink alcohol (even from christians) that judge teetotaller. People that don’t drink alcohol don’t prejudge people that do drink alcohol (at least in a life of 32 years I have still not met a prejudiced teetotaller). I have Christian friends that drink alcohol, and I have Christian friends that don’t drink alcohol. I have non-christian friends that drink alcohol and non-christian friends that don’t drink alcohol. teetotallers are everywhere, not just by christians, but by every kind of people. Someone judged me some years ago, because I say «no thanks» in a party to alcohol, my atheist friend was there beside me, he is also a teetotaller, the host say «thats okey, I respect you» to my atheist friend, but the same host say to be «come on, why are you so prejudiced, you are not better than us» and I answer «did I ever told you that I was better than you?» and the host answerd «no, but its obvious» and than I say «why did you say that you respect the other person that say no thanks, but you did not respect me» and he say «because he is an atheist, he don’t drink, because he don’t like to drink alcohol, but you don’t drink because you think you are a better person than us» Most non-Christians respect that I am an abstainer and do not like or drink alcohol, but there are still some who do not respect this, and then I realize that he are the one who are prejudiced (the host at the party), he are the one who feel better than the others. I choose not to drink, because I don't like the taste, I don't like the effect, I feel most comfortable by have 100% control over my body at all times. I have also been advised by the doctor not to drink due to health reasons But why should I have a excuse not to drink? Why should I have to defend that I don't drink? Why can't I just say "no" and why won't they leave me alone, the drinkers? I NEVER ask anyone WHY they drink, but I am often asked why I DON'T drink
