I am no saint, I'm a recovering addict to this disease. However (gotta love that soft "but" hehe), if people want to live secular lives then it's not for us to judge. We only have to lovingly advise against it, but we cannot control others. It's only God who can judge us after our lives are over and we are called to the judges bench! I can only hope that through my instruction my children will have the mental fortitude that I lacked at there age to make better choices in their lives!

I simply can't understand how porn is ok. I've struggled with it since I was 8 or 9. It deeply disturbed my mind. It stripped me from quality of life. In any situation I was in, whether it be joyous, happy, innocent, devastating, horrifying, sorrowful. I would always be plagued by inappropriate thoughts. When I lost my grandfather I could not process the incident in a healthy manner. I was fighting myself to have even a moment of just simple grief. And when I was fighting my lust and desires I would fall into a feverous state. It was so hard to have a moment of just clarity in my mind. It was clouded, confused, even lost. I just felt like I would never have freedom. It came to a point that I would be just sitting in class and then randomly I feel as if I'm naked. The indescribable shame, fear and disgust I experienced was so immobilizing. It made me feel unsafe even in my own clothing. I was discussing this issue with a loved one and there was this sort of realization. It reminds me of that moment where Adam and Eve felt naked and dressed themselves in leaves. I finally understood why I was feeling such a way. I have many more issues porn brought into my life. Many consequences. But, I finally feel free. So, with all that I faced it just boggles my very existence how people can justify porn. In the end it does not change the fact that when I came to God I was hoping to feel better, he instead went ahead and freed me from these chains. He quite literally liberated my enslaved mind. Simply put, it is clearer than it has been in almost a decade. Praise God for he is able to wipe any slate clean, in Jesus name, Amen. Porn is not a form of liberation. God is. Jesus is. The Holy spirit is. It's better to put your time and energy into the LORD because no matter the money or pleasure you get from lust and sexual imoralities it would not match the greatness of the outcome God has for you.

It's also always tragic to see hispanics fend for a Middle Eastern doomsday cult that was forced upon them by spanish conquistadors. This is the only reason you're religious..had history turned out differently, and another empire invaded and pillaged your people, you would be spewing another religion's gibberish.

The pro porn guy that you went off about at the beginning of the video ignored all the science behind porn being bad. I struggle with it, but I am starting use the faith I have and the science behind it to break the bondage. I think God can use science and pragmatism to get people away from the sexual destruction that porn brings. Now, the non-Christian is also more likely to distort sexuality even without pornography because they don’t have that basis for sexual purity that is followed within the Christian faith.

It was additional science and health facts that dampened masturbation for me. I still stumble here and there, but it does not have as powerful a hold on me. Climaxing releases dopamine and oxycotin and creates an addicting bond to the activity that just happened. Combine that with keeping sex and climaxing to a spouse and you see a mechanism to keep you addicted and bound to your covenant and to your spouse. Any other activity gets you addicted to that activity while climaxing and hence the system is broken from its intent. I personally gave up all forms of pornography years ago, and it is still taking a ton of practice to not masturbate on my own and wait on my spouse. I thank God he wrestled with me this whole time where I can still fight and wait and don't have any serious impairment of my sexual activity. The addictive nature of sex is good in a marital context and difficult to heal if not. Also, just learned that increased masturbation for men in their 20's and 30's has an increased risk of prostate cancer (cause you're overworking the semen tank, duh) So, that's another helpful deterrent.

When I was in my preteen years, a friend of mine showed me porn, it really started to affect my views on what relationships were like. I’ve seen so many explicit content in movies/shows and it hurt my spirit at such a young age where your innocence should be kept pure still. 😞 I have noticed it affects how women see themselves. They show a certain type of woman who is showing off her body and has certain types of curves. So many “fetishes” have been normalized and can cause woman to become objects. It’s a perversion of a relationship between a man and woman that God made for us. It needs to be canceled for good. (Not to mention how many girls now do onlyfans for explicit images/videos since it’s all normalized)

I'm from a poor country that used to have a limited access to the internet but I had access to it and through that was exposed to porn pics. This strengthened my masterbation addiction and this has been going on and on for about 13 years now. I know that both have negative impacts on my health and spiritual life but I can't seem to fight the urges for more than a couple of weeks or days at a time. And so I had almost given up and also led myself to think maybe this is some kinda a phase in my lifetime. But as soon as I heard you say "there's hope" something happened in me and I feel like I'll be able to be set free through christ who strengthens me. So I'd like to thank and bless you in Jesus' name. I believe that I'll be coming out of this bondage in testimonies. Amen and God bless you abundantly in every aspect of your life.

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.’ ” (Exodus‬ ‭14:14‬) “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:38-39‬) Remember that all you have to do is put your faith in God, and stop trying to fight the battle on your own. God has you in His arms and He will fight the battle for you. You don’t have to do anything but stay still and pray. Worship Him. That’s all. And remember that anything that you have ever done will never stop God from loving and forgiving you. Just ask God for strength to fight the temptation. Ask Him to clear your thoughts from all evil things. I completely understand what you’re going through because I was in the same boat. But now I am free in Jesus. And I used to think that I would never be free from the chains of pornography and masturbation. But that was a lie from the devil. He made me think that God didn’t love me and that I would never stop my repetitive sin. But God showed me otherwise. So don’t give up. Just lay all of your struggles at the feet of the Father. And He will set you free. God bless you ❤️

As a health ed teacher I can tell you that there is a reason why we wait until the age of 12 to responsibly teach sexual education. Certain issues you have to wait to teach until they are psychologically and developmentally appropriate. Sex is one of these issues. There's a reason why we wait until puberty to teach the biology. Even then it will take more time to talk about sex and its appropriate context. Pornography is 100-percent destructive. The only thing that it improves on is someone's Wallet. Not all money is good money.

For several weeks following his accident, I worried someone would find his phone and his addiction would be revealed to the world. Imagine how conflicted I felt when I learned that there was nothing left of his phone. I always knew there was something wrong with pornography, even as those around me constantly espoused pro-sex narratives. I got saved after John died and it all makes sense now.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 KJV God loves us no matter what and if we confess our sins to him he will forgive us , but what we need to remember to do is repent/turn away from our sins , and if we do fall into sin we must get back up stronger and try to do better next time. Also remember ''that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.'' Romans 10:9 KJV Everyday remember to ask God to help you overcome temptation. And I know this is not an easy task (trust me I know) but with God's help we will make it through I'm praying for you keep strong.

I'd also like to add; there is a reason that psychiatrists "pathologize" your behavior - it's not a normal or should I rather say, a healthy way to live your life and has been proven consistently that it affects the wellbeing of the "performer" in the long run. Specifically women. Life after porn is a great documentary about it, but it's not appropriate to watch as there is perverse content covered. But it highlights the psychological damage that most of these people end up being left with. Often they are victims of sexual abuse or neglect as children. Not always the case, but even the women who have no history of any trauma in their life, are left feeling empty, hallow, vacant, used, and worthless by the time they are around 30-35 because they have reached their prime already and are less wanted by the industry. Then they "retire" and are left with a lot of regret, depression, grief, loss, suicidal, susceptible to drug abuse and addiction. There have been many studies done, recent ones by doctors and scientists that have done brain scans on porn addicts and found their reward centers are much smaller than expected. It physically rewires the brain and structurally changes it. You CAN'T tell me that's nor harmful. That's not even getting into the issue with how overly sexualized it makes everyone, and how perverted this generation is getting. - I think I might need to just make my own video ranting about this. Good topic nd good video to react to!

FYI The person who is a human rights advocate with a beard is a transgender female. To the trans community porn is a big part of their culture - transwomen who have written books write of their female identity from a pornification view of womanhood. Example - Torrey Peters (a transman to female) book Detransition,Baby and its description of the female identity is very sadistic. I've never watched porn and never will. In my opinion, if we don't watch people go to the toilet or throw up then why do we feel the need to watch other people have sex? it's a very intimate thing.

Hey Isaac (I hope I spelled your name right). I thoroughly enjoyed your thoughts and content within this video, as a recovering porn addict I cannot stress enough the need for content and preaching on this subject. But what I wanted to address within this video is the use of the word "pragmatism". I believe it might have been used in a way that is not definitively accurate. Holding to a pragmatic view of truth is very subjective as pragmatism sees truth as that which has utility for individual people or people groups. Essentially, according to pragmatism, truth is subjective and if your truth works for you then it's true for you. The practicality of this theory of ascertaining truth is clearly flawed. In opposition to the pragmatic theory of truth, I would encourage you to seek out coherence theory and correspondence theory. Coherence theory consists of how we internally and systematically assess, understand, and then believe things to be true. As long as what we believe about something does not contradict anything else that we believe about a specific thing, then it is a good series of coherent truths that makes up belief. But coherence alone is not good enough. Our coherent systems about different things in life must correspond with reality around us. For example, I observe a gentleman wearing a blue shirt. I have now internally asserted that this is a blue shirt on a male human. I believe the shirt is blue, I believe it is a shirt since it is on a human torso, I believe it is a male article of clothing because it is a male wearing it, and so forth. But my internal thoughts need to correspond with the physical, real world. So I can hold these beliefs about the man wearing a blue shirt, but if it turns out that it is a man wearing a purple shirt then my coherence is false as it does not correspond with reality. Pragmatism - subjective theory of grasping truth which sees truth as that which has utility or function for individual people or groups. Coherence - internal systems developed in order to make sense of different things in the world (bases on reason and mental cognition). Correspondence - utilizing the senses in order to ascertain truth. Truth cannot be pragmatic, but truth cannot be grasped by cognitive function alone nor empirical senses alone. Both cognitive function (coherence) and empirical data (correspondence) must come together in order for truth to be grasped as best as humanly possible. You have amazing content so far as I've seen, and I am thankful you are willing to address difficult topics in the world and in the church. God bless you brother.

I was in prayer with the Lord and I was brought a realization : when we watch "adult movies", we're not just committing sin. We're envying and therefore idolizing who is in those videos and we're worshipping them. And when we're gaining pleasure from this, we're literally doing a ritual when we do this. It's idolatry, witchcraft, and sinful in every way. I had seen the picture from a video talking about this very thing but it never quite clicked until Yahweh (God) revealed it to me. It's also why it is so easily to become addicted to it and difficult to break that kind of activity. We've worshipped the creation over the Creator and so we're given over to our lusts of the flesh (read Romans 1:21-32). Just like any other sin, we can be forgiven if we truly are remorseful and repent of this sin and every part of it. When we understand a sin better and more in depth then its easier for us to not only ask forgiveness but also its easier to know why it's considered a sin and we're more equipped to combat it in the future through the power of Yahweh (God) and the blood of Yeshua (Jesus).

As a porn addict, it definitely impacts your life in quite a few ways. It affects my sex life for one example. When i was with my ex girlfriend i often refused to get intimate with her, which you would probably think its good because premarital sex is a sin until you realize that I'd pull up porn and go solo. I wasnt getting the same satisfaction that i would if i was actually getting intimate and lots of times I'd feel a bit unfulfilled when being intimate. Not to mention porn is likely to cause a slippery slope where it acts as a gateway to other things. It starts off with this "innocent" thing where the simplest things would satisfy you. But as you go on your preferences change. suddenly you move from just "normal" sex videos to more taboo stuff that you probably wont want to tell anyone you watch or you'd get weird looks. Its kind've like eating cake, starts off as just a desert every now and then but when you start eating it more regularly it no longer hits the same so now you look for something that gives you that same satisfaction that you got when first eating cake and then that gets boring so now you keep going for something else. It creates this thing where you always want more, and because porn is so expansive and new categories come out you feel the need to dive in to more and more stuff.

Soulish believers will follow the lusts of the flesh more often, we are called to walk in the Spirit. The Spirit puts to death the lusts of the flesh if we agree to die to self daily and walk according to the Spirit, we can't even do it of ourselves, we must be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. We will not want to grieve the Holy Spirit because with experience we will know how awful that feels. As we grow stronger through the Spirit the weaker the flesh becomes to influence our decisions. The way of the Cross is of paramount importance in the walk of obedience.
