DIY Under-Water LED Fish Lights: How-to Make Them Like I Did

Ойын-сауық

With the Chaos Garage boat operational, I’d like to eventually try some night fishing. Follow along while I show you how I made some under-water LED fish lights. I think they turned out awesome and can’t wait to use them!

    Awesome video and a fantastic final product. I like your attention to detail. How many of those Coors Lights did it take to complete one light? LOL

    Thanks! I guess it can take as many Coors as you want depending on how fast you want to work and how good you want the end product to be. :D

    Great Video! How would you do it in series? Like I want to do this with 4 lights and one plug. A video would be great 👍

    I would wire each light in parallel on main power wires. You would need beefy main power wires (8awg minimum). I am unable to make a video in the next week or so but maybe this diagram will help explain what I mean. i.pinimg.com/736x/68/8c/88/688c888b0c0ee26083c588da629a45a0.jpg

    How long does it last with a 12v battery?

  • @ChaosGarage

    @ChaosGarage

    6 ай бұрын

    I guess that depends on the battery. I'd imagine on a deep cycle battery at the rated 60 watt, you'd probably get around 24 hours. Take your amp/hour of your battery and divide it by 5. That should be close to accurate. 60 watts/ 12 volts = 5 amps, 125 (example) amp/hours / 5 = 25 hours

    What’s the purpose of the fuse?

    Just in case water gets in and shorts the strip, it won't melt your battery.
