I believe a ball joint separator would have been your friend here.
Great video, not only because I am in it!
Glad to know I'm as strong as a floor jack... thanks for the chuckles tonight! Great job on the video and good luck getting a garage 😉
Love the unexpected Scooby Doo reference.
Thank you just salvaged one that was sitting in a hard for a year and a half and this is basically all I need to do to get it up and running again

Great job saving one!
Nice video!
How did these xA/xB Front Control Arms work out for you? Have they stood up over time? Any issues with their bushing quality?

I'm still running them and I'm abusing them at Autox with grippy tires regularly. Note that only 2004 xA/xB arms are the same dimensions.

@@ErikSeastead Thanks for the reply. Did you order these through a specific vendor?

@@ErikSeastead Cool. I still don't know if I want to go this route or just deal with my original FLCAs and go with Superpro bushings. The ball joint quality on aftermarket is what worries me the most.

If I were doing this job today I'd just replace the bushings in my control arm. At the time I sort of needed to do the job quickly.
