@@ADGaming-7619 I'm a mechanic and I have no say in how much I get paid for fixing a car. I get paid a set amount of money for each job I do. The other day I spent 3 hours chasing wires and I only got paid an hour of labor. It's the shop who makes all the money lol. Plus most mechanics/technicians love Chrisfix, ETCG, Humble Mechanic, EE, and that one guy who rails lines of coke and sleeps in his trunk. Even the older guys watch these. You can learn a lot even from DYIers

I've been doing this for many decades. Even though you're using hand tools and no full fitted workshop it's very clear you know what you're doing. A lot of very good guidance for those that don't. Really good videos Chris.

Then maybe I'd follow you too and see who does it better, but from what I know. He is very detailed on everything, unlike people that I've watched that just say, it's okay if it breaks, or just keep turning, and if the bolt breaks, buy a new one, etc. Hes professional. I just recently aquired a 2005 Saturn Ion 2, Pacific Blue, 4 door coupe, with 5 speed manual transmission with over 214,000 miles, in desperate need of having its loose front end steering suspesion replaced. Chris is like the Mechanic God or Guru his videos taught me how to do body work patching holes, and rust sanding, I just learned how to change inner and outer tie rods now I'm learning how to redo my entire front suspension this is great stuff

I have to say this is the most instructive video on car maintenance I have ever seen. Very easy to understand. Thank you.

I just bought an 08 volvo c30 t5 and the entire suspension needs replaced and both estimates for work was over 3 grand. Nearly half of what I bought the car for. This is pure gold. Got the parts on order since I already had 3/4ths the tools needed for this. Thanks!

I've got new suspension for my C4 Corvette coming in soon. I'm gonna be watching this over and over in preparation. Your channel is my favorite resource for working on cars and I always reference your videos before starting work. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us how to do all these things! EDIT: I also remember watching this video many times before working on my Crown Vic's suspension as well!

I felt so much excitement and Joy when he gave it a ride after alignment! That accomplishment and work paid off

Great job just went through this with my car in the shop and there is alot to the install but I did everything except shocks and struts , excellent presentation and install and enjoyed your video.

This is one of the best videos I've seen explaining how a car is put together. I've always enjoyed learning how cars work and watching a suspension system installed really shows how steering and drive power make sense. I wish I could play around with cars and learn hands on, but I don't have the resources or space. Loved this video!

@@spartacussmith7070 technically the Del Sol is based off the CRX, which in turn is based off the Civic. It was sold in foreign markets as "Civic Del Sol" and "CRX Del Sol", only in North America it's called "Del Sol"

Ive done front suspension work a few times, mostly cv axle replacement, but i wish i had seen this video before, very informative.

Man you make it look so easy, took me 3 hour to replace the struts on a mulibu 2011, thank you for all the tips 👍👍👍

I just found your channel about 4 days ago. *I was planning to buy my first car, because I've used the one my father had, but since June I live in another country* I own my drivers license for almost 2 and a half years, and I wasn't interested about learning how to superclean your car, or how to fix a rusty part.. Honestly I thought it is too hard for me, and i'd rather be paying a couple hundreds of dollars for a mecanic instead of doing it myself.. "BTW i don' t have the required tools" - or that's what I've thought- A few days earlier I've found your channel, and I started to be interested, and to feel more confident too. I've inspected a car today(the Chrisfix way) and I've negotiated the price for almost the half of it. I am really excited to see your next videos too, and I just want to say thank you from all of my heart, your channel had changed my thoughts about cars, and fixing them. Thank you Chris :)

Used this info to completely rebuilt the front suspension on my '99 4x4 Dakota. Even if the Dakota suspension is more complex, torsion bars being involved, the same principle applies as described in this excellent video and it turned out very nice...Thanks for posting!

do u know how to get stock torsion? ima have to rebuild my suspension and steering and im not sure how to key the torsion bars to stock level. 98 dakota 4wd here.

@pizza cat lover for drifting a supercharger would fit nicely because it delivers linear power instead of having to deal with more unpredictable turbo output while trying to modulate the throttle

blazar 0 Bruh who doesn’t want a charger on a drift car? that’s literally perfect. the only time you should put a turbo on a drift car is if it’s sequential, has ALS, or you’re a very experienced drifter

The great thing is that how you sequencely put all things apart before installing...keep the good work up chris....like you do everytime...
