Disney Investors Attack Bob Iger For Female Pandering

Ойын-сауық

Disney is continuing to be destroyed all over the internet by fans and moviegoers, however to make things worse for Disney, it's own investors and shareholders are getting angry with Disney constantly focusing on messages and not entertaining fans as that is resulting in Disney movie losing money. With no better example right now than Star Wars and in particular the Rey Star Wars movies, are they are making another one despite fans complaining.

So, it's an ego display to a fractional and possibly non-existent audience. Star Wars is merely a vehicle.

To me, this is what happens when you let a girl in an "Treehouse All-Boys Club". For me, boys like man stuff and in their treehouse, they have comic books, action movies, spaceships, manly heroes with action figures, etc in it. And then one day, you invite a girl in. At first, she's kind of cool, she likes the same thing as the boys do. It's fine at first. And then, she invites another girl friend and more. But you later notice how they are slowly putting in things in their treehouse, like curtains, a tea set, dolls, pink stuff etc, and the next thing you know, the girls are playing tea party with the boys manly action figures. And that's when the boys walk out. They took their favorite boy treehouse and turn it into a girl treehouse with all their stuff in it and they can;t take it out. Sometimes, they come back to see when the girls gave up and go away, but sometimes, they never do. The girls mock the boys by playing their manly action figures and are like "These are girls toys now". That's how I see Star Wars and Marvel now.

I say "just let them have their Star Wars chick flick". If it sucks (which is likely), no one will watch it and they will be digging their own grave. Then things will have to change, and they will eventually hire the right people. (It's unlikely but possible)

If they had a diverse cast in good stories that are well-written and respected the source material, nobody would mind in the slightest bit and they’d be accepted as they are. The problem is they only wanna tick boxes and have no interest in putting in any effort after that.

Hell, even THE MESSAGE wouldn’t be a problem if it was conveyed, again, with a well-written story that conveys the ideas through good writing instead of self-righteous preaching and treating huge segments of the population with disrespect.

Bob Iger believe he is still living in the age of the Women's movement of the 70'es, blissfully unaware of what they turned into in the meantime, even though he is working right next to the radicals on a daily basis. Some men just can't get past the chivalrous stage in life, even though the women that once deserved that treatment are exceedingly rare, if not all gone by now.

Instead of actually making something good that people want to see. The media and Hollywood would rather blame and bash men. When men still make up the majority of who is seeing the films.

Regardless, if you enjoyed your time then at least you were able to show to anyone working at Disney that you are coming from a good place.
