I completely agree!!

"Me pone??" NOOOOOO. In Madrid that's fine, but don't say that across the pond. "Poner" means to put or to insert, and in the continent of reggaeton, if you ask someone "me pone" (would you please insert into me) you would get funny looks AT THE VERY LEAST .

Here, In Latinoamerica We say " Pon-me". In Madrid say " me pones" o " me pone". Yo soy latino-americano Realmente las dos formas son correctas y no hay una forma más o menos mejor que la otra.

You should go to Japan Town for Japanese, and to the Richmond District for Russian. And maybe you'll be lucky and find some old-timers for Italian in North Beach. And don't forget the city of Daly City to the immediate South for Tagalog.

Bruh, hardly anyone speaks these "white people" languages nowadays. The Asians and Hispanics are usually the ones who kept their language. I seldom hear Italian, German, and so on.

I'm learning Spanish and a little bit of German. I've been watching babble's videos and I love how your videos challenge me to learn different languages. I can't wait till you make more videos.

Me pone? I've always learned that you say quiero when ordering at a restaurant

Just by chance Im also fluent in English Hebrew Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, so I really enjoyed your video that incorporated all of them :) Couple of things regarding Hebrew though We normally don't say "Shalom" it a very old word used by older people, similar to "Greetings xxx" in English. Another thing is intonation, Israeli Hebrew has a lot to do with intonation, when you ask someone to have a drink you should always do it with a smile and a rising tone stressing the last word. That is of you want to sound more local 😉 Other than that great video!

I always say "Quiero " then place my order, and have never been corrected. Now I'll have to ask my friends if "me pone" is even used in Texas

The phrase you used in Hebrew to say "Would you like to have a drink?" is only if you are addressing a male. To a female you would say "At Rotza...". Also most Israelis do not say "Shmi" (although it is technically correct), "Kori'im Li" (lit: they call me) is more common.

"Me pone un burrito" isn't correct. It should be "me gustaria un burrito"

this guy is a fraud, I'm a native spanish speaker and he doesn't speak spanish fluently. Many words he uses, he doesnt use them right, he speaks weird, slow, he definitely did not reach native level

No he speaks very well. He just speaks differently because he is using the "Castilian" way of speaking.
