Life as a Polyglot | Claire-Marie Brisson | TEDxWayneStateU
You would think that life as a polyglot equates to globe trotting and making friends all across the map! In this Talk, Claire-Marie discusses the advantages and more often than not, the confusing times that come along with speaking several languages. She explores how even these confusing times can become advantages of their own.
Claire-Marie is a Masters candidate in French language and literature. Having done extensive research on the role of French Literature during the Second World War, she has spent considerable time overseas, particularly in the South of France. She had also worked as a bilingual intern within the Canadian Senate in an office representing Montréal. Her love for the languages is what drives her career path.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

Very nice girl. She must have her school credits for this. It's not easy to speak in public and be filmed. I hope she can move to real things and hopefully move on from her need for acceptance. I know it's not easy - but if you want a graduate degree - make sure your are not using this (mentors be alert) as a forum to make you feel important. That's not what it's about. But hey You Tube is for amateurs anyway. Try to do real work, not re-processed work. REALLY - ma petite fille - je suis aussi Québecois - je parle 5 langues - je te donnes la chances de te faire conseiller par des vraies conseiller. Anyway - just want to help - really
