The German girl was like "Uh, not exactly but here's your beer anyway" 😆
Wish I could just travel, absorb new cultures and languages, would truly be the best life. I envy your lifestyle Matt!
This was a lot of fun to watch! Where I live, there are many different ethnic restaurants, but sadly, many people in those restaurants only speak English, so I can't practice my French or Italian. But we have a lot of Mexican restaurants so at least I can practice my Spanish.
I think it's more than a little ironic that you went to the _US_ to brush up on your language skills, considering the joke. Q: What do you call someone who speaks four languages? A: Quadrilingual Q: What do you call someone who speaks _three_ languages? A: _Tri_lingual Q: What do you call someone who speaks _two_ languages? A: _Bi_lingual Q: What do you call someone who only speaks _one_ language? A: American

@@LittleLulubee stats show only about 18% speak 2 languages in the USA so statistically if you walk up to a group of 5 there is a chance that at least one of the speaks a second
Ooops. You missed the Maya. San Francisco has about 20,000 Yucatec Mayas (Mexico) working there, and there are about 3 or 4 restaurants that serve their cuisine.
I'm from the SF bay here, even went to uni in SF, and let me tell you, most people in these ethnic neighborhoods don't speak their original language except for the Asians and Hispanics. You don't hear the "white people" languages much since they've pretty much assimilated into the Anglo-speaking environment, unless they're newly arrived immigrants or so. I haven't heard Greek, Russian, German, maybe French, and Italian spoken in streets as much as I do Spanish, Cantonese, and sometimes Japanese. SF isn't like NYC where people kept their cultural languages. There's a reason why the foreigner is teaching these SF residents other languages… because typical SF residents don't really speak other languages besides English!
Go to NYC!
I just got Babbel and it's really good I rate it 99/100
Why does he sound like super Mario when he speak italian? He pronounced the words in a weird way.
I wish both Youlden's would do a daily vlog, they would be the Casey Niestat of language learners.
Привет, i really want babble to do more on russian, if you could that would be amazing спасибо!

What can I say apart from "LOL" !! Where did they find these guys ?? They were terrible... probably the worst "language learners" on Earth. Pathetic.
