Paulina Does a few rock and roll ballads that will, make you cry, But in the same breath the rock and roll is so tight and so good it will make you cry. Yes, they are Mexicans, so Spanish is their first language and this show was in Mexico City, thus Dany is talking to the crowd in Spanish. However, they do write almost all of their songs in English. As they started gaining fans and having more success after their second album some critics in Mexico started throwing shade about how they were betraying their roots or "malinchista" (loosely translated as cultural traitor), so they wrote their first song in Spanish called Narcisista as a response to those critics in one of the most epic - yet still polite - up yours to the critics. When they perform that song at this show they have a little special surprise for the audience that you'll find out about when you watch. One thing to keep in mind when watching the live videos from this show is that they played two sold out shows there with the same set list and they did a wardrobe change during a brief intermission. The video is taken from both shows so you might notice some discrepancies but the audio is all taken from the second show I believe. So, you will see them in both the black outfits that they wore for the first half and the white outfits they had on for the second half. As for us fans, The Warning Army is a large, growing, passionate, and engaged fan base. reaction videos are promoted between us and is one way we can help support and grow the band. The “malinchista” critics were WAY off course. I mean, they’re from Monterrey, close to the USA, so they HAVE to be bilingual, specially when it comes to music industry. Well for them, I say. This GenX-er has absolutely zero complaints.

A once in a generation phenomenon. I flew down with my daughter 2 months ago from Portland Oregon and saw them in Tijuana where they started with Disciple. Ale’s bass kicked me in the chest and knocked me over, then Pau beat me over the head with her drums and then Dany finished me off by slaying me with her guitar and vocals. Once you go down The Warning rabbit hole there's no way out, like Black Holes (which is one of my favorite songs of theirs).

In addition to all of that talent, their 2nd album, _Queen of the Murder Scene,_ is a concept album that details the descent of a girl from love to obsession, stalking, murder, and madness (and more murders). But hit their newer songs first - Evolve, Choke, Animosity, and their completely rebuilt Enter Sandman.

It reflects their development as people & musicians. 2) The audiance has a part to play in the show. They sang the "2-3-GO!". In Disciple. Ale does that on the video. On this concert it shows on songs like "Dust to Dust" or "When I'm Alone". This next set of songs (including "More") are just the next step in the evolution of The Warning.

This entire concert was magical- every official video from it has incredible audio and visuals. As for “style” The Warning has a wide range of songs.

I think my favorite song for the Crazy energy is Survive - from the same concert...a old standard for them still stands up.

Great reaction! Guys you *really* need to watch Dust to Dust also from Teatro Metropolitan -- you will be stunned. Ale's bass line is incredible, and Pau ("Pow" the drummer) sings lead for the whole song (except Dany at the end finishes it off). And you are absolutely right - The Warning loves performing, this is their dream from 10 years ago when they started as young girls.

I subbed just to see your Warning Reactions. They are the only ones I watch reactions to. 3 Sisters from Mexico taking the world by leaps and bounds.

The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. Note- their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto KZread. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 24 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were caught off guard completely by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together daily). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for and won many Independent Music awards in 2019. They just released (in 2022) their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! I can't say enough about these incredible young ladies. I had not been to a live show since early 2000s, I've seen TW 3 times last year and twice this year. Best live band I've ever experienced. They do not make filler songs. Everything they do is great. And they're some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and that includes their entire team. AMAZING MEXICAN GODDESSES OF ROCK! ❤❤❤

These ladies are a rabbit hole full of awesome!!! More is DEFINITELY a bit of a departure from their main style but still incorporates it. And the song hits differently live versus the recording also. Their album Queen of the Murder Scene (their 2nd but technically 3rd) is an entire story (concept album) that is complete from start to finish. They also performed the entire album live in their 2018 Lunario CDMX concert which is available to see and like this Teatro Metropolitan show was "pro shot" not fan cam. But Disciple is off of their latest album Error. This entire concert from Teatro Metropolitan is fantastic and they're been releasing all of the songs too. In the Berlin video I saw very few phones the crowd was big time into it.

Thank you for checking them out again. The Warning from Mexico and Band Maid from Japan are two of my favorite groups.

Consider Evolve or Error both live at Teatro Metropolitan. They also do a great cover of Enter Sandman also at Teatro Metropolitan. In this video, the bassist is 17 years old (she's 18 now). Not sure where you live. But, tomorrow they are starting a short 2 week leg of tour in New Jersey, followed by Boston, Montreal, Toronto and several midwest venues. Or you can see them open for Guns N Roses in September In Tennessee and South Florida.

I have the feeling you have been Warned! Great reaction! Paulina is an incredible singer. She sings lead on several songs, although Dany is the principal lead singer. Alejandra rarely sings lead, and when she does, it's reluctantly, and it's awesome! All three sing wonderfully, and I love when all three of them are singing together. Monterrey, Nuevo León, México... I will be seeing them perform there in their hometown on October 25! This concert was in Mexico City (CDMX), and the Spanish-speaking crowd was singing along!

They are a great great band. Evolve, choke, animosity, disciple, dull knives, martirio is an epic song they sing in Spanish, they do not have a bad song. You have been warned 🤟

Welcome to The Warning experience, guys. The more you venture down the rabbit hole the more you'll fall in love with them. Yeah, English is their second language. Now you are talking my language. As you have just seen, More was a huge departure for the band (and a bit polarizing with the fan base). Some fans loved it. Most allowed it to grow on them. Some just passed. It was their first song with outside writers on it, so it lacks their secret sauce, as it were. Having said that, these sisters excel at writing varied music. There is a distinct “The Warning” sound, yet no two songs are carbon copies of another. Keep going, you will not be disappointed.

I didn't scroll through all the comments so maybe it's already been mentioned but if you're impressed with the live vocals you'll be even more impressed to know they are performing at over 7,000 feet above sea level.

ALL of their songs are Bangers!!!

And if you like ballads too, try their song called Revenant.

This song is about how social media controls us with fabricated info. Pau, the drummer, got inspired about the main riff in a Canadian supermarket in 2019. She came home, composed the song on her piano including the bass intro and called her sisters. They were 19, 17 & 14 then. That is why Dany, guitarist, starts the song as an antagonist with "The sun is YOUR enemy today" while Pau picks it up as a disciple in the 2nd verse with "The sun is MY enemy today". The sisters trade off lead vocals as demanded by the script. You can make out the difference in their vocal textures. Ale, the bassist, mainly harmonizes in the lower frequencies with infrequent falsettos as required by the song. The Warning are masters in composing in minor scales. Quite often they introduce a full sequence of major chords for the same verse to break the monotony. And that downward bend in vocals here is typically The Warning with this progression G Bb E A G#m . I mean G & G#m in the same sequence - are you kidding me? Among their 3 full albums & 2 EPs the girls have published a concept album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene where they have mused over unrequited love, death, self harm, suicide & lunacy. Pau was in middle school going through her emo phase when she tabled the 1st draft in front of her sisters. Just to keep it in context, five decades back Roger Waters dealt with death, lunacy & depression in The Dark Side of the Moon. Dive into their rabbit hole that stretches back more than a decade to when they were playing classical piano as 6-8 year olds. Its all on YT. They have practically grown up on social media. After watching your reaction I am confident that you won't be disappointed. Every song from The Warning needs to be reviewed with the lyrics, innate message & back story, if available. Because they are the most intellectual band to emerge in decades. Their profound metaphorical songwriting on contemporary society sets them apart from the crowd. So you can always read what the band says about their songs during your reviews. Their ages at the time of composing a song & playing it in public should be noted too in reviews. Happy diving.

When your ready there second album is an amazing concept album that is best done in order, Dust To Dust is the first track from it.

Like others have said, the Teatro concert was Pro Shot by Professionals. There is also a concert from Lunario in Mexico City (2018) that is good quality and has alot of songs that they did not play at Teatro. The live footage you need to stay away from is when somebody records it on their phone from the crowd and posts it on YT.

They grew up speaking both Spanish and English. And they speak some French too.

Lead singer Dani is 22 years old, lead drummer and singer Pau is 20, bass player Ali is 18. 3 sisters from Mexico.

The Warning build their songs the way bands like LZ, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, The Doors, Cream, and The Who did in the beginning of hard rock. There’s a lot going on and the songs are broken into dynamic sections with hooks and a lot vamps. It resulted in each band being totally unique and almost genres in themselves. So much so that even on the first listen of a new song on the radio we knew within the 1st or 2nd measure who the band was. The Warning is like this. I can’t make that claim about any other band today.

More is experimental. They are searching new directions they can explore in music, fusing styles and genres together. I'm interested in seeing where that goes. But it's hard to lock down what their style is, really. Disciple is closer to what they have sounded like from their first two albums, but even on the Error album from which Disciple comes, there was a good bit of variation and experimentation going on. I think it's a great thing that they were willing to play around with their sound. It keeps their music fresh and there is nothing thrown away or boring on their albums because of it. So, yeah, a lot of us aren't huge fans of More, but it is a funky, fun song, especially when they perform it live. Hopefully, its appeal to a wider audience gains their other music more attention and gains them some new fans, or disciples.

More is a song they did not write, while on tour in LA they worked with several song writers who offered their own originals and the girls picked More to record and make the video but it is not on any album.

you guys need to watch Pau (the drummer) perform ‘Walk This Way’ by Aerosmith. She’s rapping along while playing perfectly to the groove, while she was 13!!! Imo the most impressive of her many impressive performances.

No rabies infected creature holds a candle to our insanity, thank you very much. btw, Disciple is great live, my first recommend, but it's not like it's head-and-shoulders above the other live performances. A bit, perhaps, but also great for recommends to new folks as it features all the band doing their thing. But "Dust to Dust", "Martitio", their interpretation of "Enter Sandman", etc. all are great live (especially this same concert as the video and sound mix are professionally done and done well).

Dust to dust is my favorite, but is hard cause they are all so so good!

Ale (Alejandra-18, bass player, backing vocals) has a beautiful tonality to her voice and her falsetto is angelic. Her voice is still rounding into adult form and she can kinda mimic both of her sisters tonality which is why she is so important to backing vocals but she has a sultry, silky timbre to her natural singing voice. Ale is the least developed vocally of the three and doesn’t emote as powerfully as her sisters which is why you’ll see her sing with her lips basically touching the mic. Ale, along with Pau, is there to set the tone of the rhythm section of the band. Her musicianship is far more important to the band than her vocal contribution. She is considered one of the best young up and coming bass players in any genre but especially rock/metal. She was a featured artist with Spector Bass at 13. She will often play lead bass parts while also slipping occasionally to a rhythm bass almost to compliment Dany’s guitar. Ale truly is the cornerstone of the band. She works musically more with her sisters not only to provide an outstanding bass line every song but to help fill out their sound by complimenting both the drums and the guitar. All 3 sisters are multitaskers onstage but in different ways. Dany (Daniela-23, lead guitar and vocals). Dany is by far the most developed vocalist in the band when it comes to range and can sing lower in her register than both her sisters while singing higher in her register than both as well (with the exception of when Ale flips into head voice for falsetto). Dany has a great vibrato to her voice and has been working on incorporating some minor distortion to her sound. Tonality wise she has the chops to sing both delicately and with a sharper, biting rock and roll tone. Her vocal belts are pretty impressive. Instrumentally Dany is a highly proficient guitar player who can shred when she wants to but often choses to play more melodic and short solos to compliment the song composition rather than show off. She has been compared to David Gilmore on more than one occasion. She is a PRS (Paul Reed Smith) featured guitarist. Well established guitar players keep giving her guitars like Lzzy Hale of Halestorm and Matt Bellamy of Muse. Pau (Paulina-21, Drums, Lead and backing vocals) Pau probably has a more husky tone than Dany and is a well developed vocalists in her own right. As others have mentioned she trains hard to be able to play drums and sing requiring tremendous breath control. Her vocal range isn’t quite up to par with Dany’s but she excels in singing the ballads because she can capture emotion in a vocal as well as anyone I’ve ever seen while also being able to portray sass and spunk in a vocal as well as anyone. A truly beautiful voice. Pau is also obviously a very accomplished drummer. She is one of the most entertaining performers on drums today in addition to being technically excellent at her craft without all the show off BS that a lot drummers portray. She’s constantly being recognized as one of the best young female drummers out there right now especially in the rock genre. She plays hard but very much in control now but she used to referred to as Animal from the Muppets by her sisters because she used to have a much more aggressive style due to diminutive stature (5’ tall) and would break sticks and various drums frequently. She is a featured artist for Sabían Cymbals.

That venue holds between 3-4,000 people. They did two shows and sold out both nights!

“More” is definitely their style. People who say otherwise aren’t real fans. They have numerous influences and differing music, always have. They make every “style” better because they are The Warning.

The Warning is great, it's difficult to find a bad song. And yes, Pau (the drummer) sings here and several others.

This is the song of #NumberlyGarfs and also the disciples. You are only on the top of a large iceberg. With this band you can´t make a bad choice, just choose any song, yes any song, they are that good, and preferably live. In their own channel they have a lot, the best are Lunario CDMX, Foro Didi Mty, Dakota Bar, Whisky a GoGo and recently Private concert in London and Madrid Full Set uploaded by fans but with good quality. They are sisters from Monterrey, México, the 3 plays classic piano since they where very little and the 3 sings lead but the bassist Ale only in case her sister is sick because she don´t like it. You have a long and fun way ahead discovering this band.

the Warning have 3 albums and an an EP about 40 originals and not a bad song among them. the Army will come, and enjoy going down the rabbit hole

If you're impressed with Paulina playing the drums and singing at the same time watch Dust to Dust live. She sings the whole thing while playing the drums. She has also done an amazing cover of Creep which is on KZread.

Imo, no true fan would say a song is not a Warning style song. They do all type of music and always have. Yes, the Error a album rocks a bit harder on some songs. More is a song they wrote as a collab. But still pretty classic Warning vibes just with a twist.

I invite you to watch their documentary, Tidal Rising - The Warning, to educate yourselves about these talented young women. BTW, I don't call following The Warning as a rabbit hole...they are a caldera...because their artistry is as wide as it is deep!!! 🤘❤🤘❤
