@@titichartay7216 I'm a child of Empires :P Also met Michael Crouch IRL several times, whose father was the British attache to the Sudan in the 40s-50s. So I know plenty about the Sudan. He'd go on to be the British attache to a lot of the middle east during decolonisation (survived a RPG being fired into his living room). AFAIK in the 40s/50s/60s/70s the practise would've been pretty much limited to the Fore people. But for the PNG PM to say it didn't happen at all, reveals that he knows virtually nothing about PNG. Why would he? Practically all the political elite in PNG spent their teens/early 20s in Australia and have the Australian diplomas and degrees to prove it.

It stopped at some point, the last confirmed case of Kuru (the disease from eating human flesh) was in 2009. Its a prion disease, so it stops with your death... But that would've meant that person ate another human as recently as 1949 to 1999. The fact there were hundreds of confirmed cases and deaths every year in the 60s, definitely means it was a more widespread thing than the PNG PM cares to admit.

Cannibalism wasn’t outlawed in PNG until the 1950’s. It’s technically possible. Sorry that this is a sore spot for PNG, but cannibalism didn’t largely end until sometime in the 1960’s. If his uncle’s body was never recovered, it’s a very real possibility. Some tribes did eat bodies that dropped. Sadly, there is still a remote tribe in PNG that does still practice ritual cannibalism.

i recently read a case of a cannibalistic satanic cult some recent years back (well after the satanic panic days) and the leader became imprisoned in russia. he got let out as he agreed to be drafted to help invade ukraine. and there's the case from germany where a dude posted online looking for someone to willingly die so he could eat that person (spoiler: he found someone) there are many cases in the united states, and many "first world" countries

I think I can affirm. My dad was stationed in New Guinea and told us it still practiced cannibalism. In fact, the GIs were told to lay on back, with arm around necks with their handguns under their pillows in case the cannibals came in slot their throats and then cannibalize them. In his photo albums, one was dedicated to shrunken heads the cannibals had eaten. So it is not too far fetched that an island with cannibals would eat Americans.

The problem with Trump paying himself hush money is that the check would bounce, and Trump knows it, so, as much as T-p has a hard time turning away money, he wouldn't accept the deal.

Nah, it's 100% not true. The military actually refuted Biden's claim. The official report is that his plane did crash, but wasn't shot down, and it crashed into the ocean, not over land. So the odds he died from cannibals rather than, ya know, a crash into the ocean is rather low.

Saying his uncle was eaten by cannibals is a startling claim, but I don't understand why New Guinea would be upset about it given the context of it happening during WW2. That's quite different from claiming that the people of New Guinea practice cannibalism in the present day, or even that the New Guinea government at the time endorsed such actions. His uncle was probably already dead when the alleged cannibals found him, from a cannibal's perspective it'd be wasteful to not eat him. There were way worse things going on during WW2 that DID have the full support of a government backing them.

Trump don't follow his gag order send his lawyer to jail for 30 days and lawyer only come out to be in the court room.

Even 77 year old men have to sit in a court when they have been accused of a crime. Geez can they worship him any more.

As usual, as long as money excuses crime, the laws will always be written exclusively for the poor. A wealthy guy belligerently ignores court orders multiple times, and simply gets a “Hey! I said don’t do that! Give me what’s equivalent to 20 bucks again!” A poor guy is a few minutes late to his court hearing and somehow ends up in jail be default.

You've missed the point here: Everything is allowed when it benefits Reputincans and illegal when it doesn't. They have only three values left: Me, Mine and My.

I just don't get the constant special treatment. His 450 million became 175 for no reason, he violates gag orders several times each and still hasn't been held in contempt, and he will continue to do so.
