Because I think that doing this would really help our country. If they aren't, then they should be! And it needs to start way before high school or college.

A lot of people think the economy is bad because they have less and less money left (if any) after paying their bills and buying groceries each month. Real wages stopped rising with GDP growth in the 70s, and since then workers have continued to receive less and less of the value they create, while millionaires and billionaires are taking more and more.

Price gouging is real they have to afford their Jets somehow while we drive through the potholes and pay for their debt and try to afford a new tire. Mr doo doo only paid $750 in taxes last year how is that fair. By the way food prices would probably be lower if we had migrant labor to harvest it and we weren't having to pay crop insurance for farmers who don't have anyone to harvest and have to till that under. The same ones who scream about pulling yourself up by the bootstraps have no problem getting subsidized by our tax dollars for their Harvest gone bad

To be fair, "the economy" can be an ambiguous term. GDP can be going up, unemployment can be down, while wages stay stagnant and prices keep soaring. In other words "the economy" can be doing great, while you personally might experience more economic hardship. These polls might speak more to the unequal distribution of wealth in America.

Employers want to only pay themselves a living wage. Also, they have nice houses in nice neighborhoods. Nice vacations several times a year. Country club membership if possible. Employee owned places are the best scenario lately. Big corporations hiring overpaid CEOs to find ways to cut corners. Just to justify their 8-9 figure salary is killing the middle class as well as those corporations.

An additional problem is that even if the economy as a whole is doing better that just means the wealthy are doing better. And the idea that if the wealthy do better everyone does better is called "trickledown economics".

It really is man. I was walking in my neighborhood on a popular route, the amount of people with their eyes buried in their hands was incredible. No situational awareness at all. With all that intelligence right in front of them, their idiocy shines bright when they almost get smacked by a person going the opposite direction. Striving for excellence and knowledge has become a thing of the past. Ignorance and stupidity have become ThE aphrodisiac.

Trump’s lawyers literally claimed a President can use seal team 6 to off a political rival with total immunity, unless impeached and then convicted in the Senate -which is currently controlled by the current President’s [Biden’s] party [Democrats]… so… _this is exactly the scenario Trump is currently arguing in favor of before the Supreme Court_

Its funny how Trump is allowed to say the things he says and do, and gets away with it.

The stock market is not an accurate reflection of the condition of the vast majority of Americans. Unemployment is down because more people than every need to work multiple jobs just to stay afloat, and people feel like we're in a recession because we have to pay eight dollars for a burger but nobody's getting raises except corporate.
