ALL churches need to pay taxes, UNLESS they can PROVE that they are an actual charitable organization that spends most of its money on humanitarian aid. 99% of churches are just for-profit businesses that do some very minimal and nominal charity stuff each year just so they can say they do it. In reality churches are about the WORST charities to donate to, as there is no required transparency and theoretically they can be as corrupt as they want with the money. If you donate to a church, you don't really know how your money is being used. Some churches try to be transparent and show their budgets, but nothing requires them to do that and they could be making things up for all anyone knows. What we need are standard business accounting practices applied to churches, and for them to report ALL revenue and expenditures. Jesus threw the money changers out of the temple as a symbol. Religion and profit should not go together. But they do.... All the time.

I really do hope we get a change, but I get the feeling the votes will be split and we might end up with a coalition, as I doubt any party will want to govern with a minority. I suspect this will be the case due to voter apathy. Sadly, people don't think this means a vote for the status quo. For the sake of both sides of the pond, get out (or post!) and vote.

Also correct on sharks vs electrocution IMO. Assuming the electrocution is quick and that I die either way, I'd prefer not to get shredded alive first. The fact that I'm making this reply about a presidential candidate is ridiculous.
