Did Medieval Lasagna Actually Exist?
Ойын-сауық
Have you ever thought of eating like a medieval English king at one of his grand feasts? Not simple hearty peasant food, though a lavish banquet displaying expensive exotic fare worthy of your royal status. The Forme of Cury, or The Method of Cooking in modern English language is a 14th century recipe book by the cooking masters of King Richard II. It even includes a medieval recipe for lasagna!

Another interesting video. It os obvious that this cookbook was meant for the upper classes. Fascinating to know about food histories in diffrent cultures. It is also interesting to see how our taste buds have changed through the ages and not just hygiene.
